  We had a great time in Egypt & on this tour & enjoyed all that we did. Our 3 days in Cairo were great & our guide Abdou was fantastic. There were 21 on our tour & it was a very diverse & interesting bunch of great people. We enjoyed meeting them all. Our days were busy with early starts but all worthwhile. Our guide when we arrived in Aswan for the river cruise was Ahmed & he was fantastic too. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable & clearly loved Egypt & its history. Our Cairo hotel (Gewan) was very comfortable as was our 3 nights on the boat. The food was very good throughout the entire 8 days. Hurghada (Rewaya Magestic) was a nice relaxing way to end our trip.Show more

Medhat welcomed us in Aswan and looked after our small group for days, being a wonderful guide but our tour with Ahmed in the old Cairo on the first day was exceptional and Abdul made our trip to the pyramids a memorable one as well.   The team- Harry, Yassin and Ahmed (not the tour guide), did a highly commendable job in ensuring the entire trip was seamlessly well-coordinated from the pickups to the accommodation arrangements and domestic flight information. The transport were unfailingly timely, we never had to wait. Ahmed and Harry were the main pillars and were always reachable, responsive and receptive to feedback. The team, notably the 3 above mentioned, did their utmost to make the experience as best possible for the guests. Small things count and Yassin, the representative at Cairo airport, was my first impression to Egypt. He was early, kept in contact the moment I landed and despite not being fluent in English he continued small talks throughout the journey with a genuine smile that made you feel wholesomely welcomed. Overall, I think the itinerary was well thought and planned, although slightly packed, as we had to have take out breakfast for 3 mornings and the early morning fatigue grew over the days. But thankfully the walking was reasonable. There was someone in the group in crutches and he could, respectfully and impressively, still manage the distance and uneven terrain. The accommodation choices, including the cruise, were reasonably acceptable (4 star on average) with the one in Hurghada being remarkably the best. The only bone to pick was the guide who we unfortunately had for the longest duration throughout the cruise from Aswan to Luxor, who wasn't in the best form in all ways. Nonetheless I still enjoyed the company of the rest of the group despite his uninterested demeanor and scanty information.Show more
