We signed by with Tour Radar for a tour supposedly operated by On The Go Tours. On The Go Tours brochure advertised...
We signed by with Tour Radar for a tour supposedly operated by On The Go Tours. On The Go Tours brochure advertised maximum participants were 15 - there were 17 on our tour. On The Go Tours brochure advertised it was an English speaking tour. Our tour leader could barely speak, yet understand, English. It made communication extremely frustrating. On day 6, my husband and I were forced to merge with a Spanish tour. None of the tour members could speak English. The tour guide had to translate everything in Spanish and English. It was not what we signed up for. There were other problems with this tour -- On The Go Tours apparently subcontracted this tour to a local tour company in Puglia. This local tour company failed miserably.Show more

  1. The tour was handed over to a local provider who did a poor job.
  2. At the end of the tour the guests were combined with a Spanish group and the guide whose English was poor had to give the tour in 2 languages.
  3. The food was really bad, not what was expected of a gold tour.
  4. The guide abandoned them on the last day.
  5. If the tour has been running since 2023 why are there no other reviews favourable or otherwise?

I would recommend you take a look over the itinerary to see if its a tour you would be interested in, it is a popular tour and we have many many satisfied guests, unfortunately not always will people post reviews and unfortunately only those who did not have satisfactory experiences generally due to own self expectations will post. This tour is a perfect way to take in the highlights of picturesque Puglia on this 8-day journey through southern Italy. We organise this tour and work in conjunction with our local team to operate this tour. Its escorted by an English-speaking Italian tour leader with expert guides for some sightseeing, when travelling the world to new countries the language is part of the culture so you can expect to have parts of the tour spoken in the native language. I guess, as long as you are fully aware of the tour and inclusions then you will know what to you can expect. This will avoid disappointment of expecting anything else. The reviews regarding food may simply be not to that particular clients taste however this is only 1 review amongst thousands of guests who have taken part in this itinerary each year. What I can offer is transparency, assistance, confidence when you book with us and support. We operate around the clock so we are here to assist you 24/7!!
