Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll be picked up from Cairo International Airport and driven to your hotel to check in and get settled. After freshening up, head out in the evening for a dinner cruise on the Nile River. The boat features live music and traditional dance performances while you take in views of Cairo's lit skyline from the water. You'll return to your hotel later that night.

Pyramids of Giza - Memphis - Saqqara
This morning you'll head to the Pyramids of Giza and see the Sphinx up close. From there, drive to Memphis, the ancient capital, to walk through the ruins and check out the open air museum. Later you'll continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid. The whole group heads back to Cairo by evening.

- Day 3
Alexandria
Travel by private vehicle to Alexandria along the coast. Start with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which contains burial chambers carved into rock. Then visit the Qaitbay Citadel, a fortress right on the water. You'll also tour the Bibliotheca Alexandrina before heading back to Cairo in the evening.

Cairo
Spend the day seeing Cairo's cultural sites. Start at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where you can see the Royal Mummies. Next, go up to the Citadel of Saladin and walk through the Mosque of Muhammad Ali with its impressive Ottoman architecture. Then wander the narrow streets of Coptic Cairo to see churches and historical buildings from different periods.

Fayoum Oasis - Wadi El Rayan
Head out to the Fayoum Oasis, about two hours from Cairo. You'll see the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls which are a nice contrast to the surrounding desert, and the Mudawara Mountains make for good photo spots. In the afternoon, try dune driving across the sand and then go sand boarding on the soft dunes if you're interested in that kind of activity.
