It was handy to have the transportation taken care of to be able to adjust plans. I appreciated the possibility in restaurants to have indonesian food instead of western food.Show more

The best part was the snorkling at the Gili islands. Our guide Bapo also took over photo taking, so we could concentrate on the cool underwater sights. It was really awsome. - LCLisa· August 26th, 2024Overall the tour was great! Zio was so helpful and a brilliant group leader. I was disappointed when I realised I would be the only new person joining a larger group that had already been together for 7 days so had established a dynamic. It was a much younger group than I expected and the majority of them were from the same country so at times it was a bit difficult to chat and get involved but after a day or 2 it was much easier and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Zio was very considerate and helped introduce me to everyone. There was a nice balance of free time and activities and the accommodation was great! The cooking class was a little disappointing as we didn't really get to cook or learn much about the dishes. The bus on Lombok could've had better air conditioning, it was very warm! I really enjoyed the trip, it was lovely to have everything organised and Zio was always on hand if anyone had any questions. Seeing the waterfalls on the day we got to Lombok made a lot of sense as it meant we got to spend less time on the bus and had an afternoon at the beach which was a lovely way to spend our last full day together.Show moreTrip date: August 2024
