Superbly organized, from pick-up at the airport to drop-off everything flowed smoothly. Our guide had an in-depth knowledge of all the monasteries and the Buddhist way of life which added greatly to the tour, the driver was excellent as well, not only efficient at their jobs but great fun as well. The people of Ladakh have a very relaxed attitude to life which soon rubs off on you. Accommodation in Leh was at the Pangong hotel not 5 star but very comfortable with friendly staff and a very good restaurant. The 2 most memorable monasteries were Thiksey and Lamayuru although the others were good as well the tour had no "low points" We had an overnight stay at the Ule Ethnic resort at Uletokpo which was very peaceful with great views from the cabin. All meals were included so the only extra we spent was on shopping and tips. Highly recommended!Show more

- For any tour departing before June 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Himalayan Saga. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
