Itinerary
- Day 1
Frankfurt to Pointe-à-Pitre
You'll fly from Frankfurt to Pointe-à-Pitre, arriving in Guadeloupe where a driver meets you at the airport. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel near Saint-Claude for the night. This gives you time to settle in and get acclimated to the Caribbean after your flight.

- Day 2
Saint-Claude
After breakfast, you'll head out to climb Soufrière volcano. The hike takes around 5 hours with 350m of elevation gain and loss, and you'll see impressive fumaroles around the massive craters at the top. Once you come back down, you can relax and soak in the sulphur springs at Bains Jaunes to recover from the climb.

Guadeloupe to Dominica
You'll start with breakfast and then get picked up for a trip to Valombreuse Botanical Gardens, where you can walk through tropical plants from all over the world. Lunch happens at the park's restaurant with rainforest views, and after that you'll head to Pointe-à-Pitre port to catch the ferry to Dominica. The journey gets you to Roseau in the late afternoon, where you'll transfer to your hotel.

- Day 4
Dominica
Your day involves a guided hike along Dominica's rugged east coast with a Kalinago guide leading the way. You'll learn about the indigenous way of life and meet villagers on the trail. The hike covers about 7 km and takes around 3 hours. After that, you can check out the Barana Autê museum village to learn more about Kalinago people and their culture.

Dominica
Head to the north coast for a hiking trail that takes you through volcanic terrain and dry forest. You'll get the chance to swim at Purple Turtle Beach, and there's an optional lunch at a beach restaurant if you want it. On clear days, you can see neighboring islands like Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, and Les Saintes from the ridge.

- Day 6
Dominica
Start with a whale watching tour by catamaran. Dominica is the only country where sperm whales live year-round, so there's a good chance you'll spot them. Later, you'll relax on one of the north coast beaches and put your feet in the Caribbean water. If you brought snorkeling gear, you can explore the underwater life right from the beach.

Dominica
You'll take a boat up the Indian River and see the dense vegetation lining both banks. Keep an eye out for crabs and water birds, and if you're a film fan, watch for locations from Pirates of the Caribbean. From there, you'll travel by vehicle along the west coast heading south toward your accommodation, which sits high above the sea.

- Day 8
Dominica
This is a challenging day hiking to Boiling Lake, a crater lake on top of a volcano. Your journey starts in lush rainforest and climbs up wooden steps and forest paths. You'll cross rivers over large boulders and move through the Valley of Desolation with its colorful rocks and fumaroles, where steaming sulphur streams run through. After this demanding hike, there's an optional chance to float through Titou Gorge with a waterfall at the end.

- Day 9
Dominica
You'll drive about 1.5 hours (30km) along winding coastal roads and up into Dominica's mountains to reach Daria Eugene's place. There, you'll cook Caribbean dishes together for lunch, then head to Champagne Reef for snorkeling. You'll see tropical fish and corals, plus experience unique underwater bubbles from volcanic heat, finishing with a swim and rest at the reef.

- Day 10
Dominica
Early on, you'll hike through primary forest to reach Middleham Falls, which drop through thick vegetation. From there you can hike down in switchbacks to swim in the basin below the falls. Then you'll transfer to Freshwater Lake, a peaceful crater lake formed millions of years ago. A 1.5-hour rainforest hike with mountain ridge paths gives you panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscape all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

Dominica to Guadeloupe
After breakfast, you'll drive to the port in Roseau and catch the ferry back to Guadeloupe, arriving in Le Gosier around midday. The journey takes about 2 hours covering 80km. Once you dock, a driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel to get settled.

- Day 12
Grand-Terre
You'll cross Grand-Terre island from south to north after having breakfast. The route takes you along the northwest coast where you can hike past volcanic rock formations, small bathing areas, and water fountains. You might spot crabs in the mangroves as you near the end, then you'll head back to the south coast to swim and relax on the beach.

Guadeloupe to Frankfurt
You have a free day in Guadeloupe to do what you want, rest, or explore on your own. In the afternoon, your driver will transfer you to Pointe-à-Pitre airport for your return flight to Germany, wrapping up your Caribbean trip.
