The hotel we use on this particular tour is the Beachscape Kin Ha; the rate per night is $230 USD. If you'd like, book the tour and we'll add the two extra nights to the quote.

Does it take 12 hours to get from hotel to Chichen Itza or is the total time to travel there and back 12 hours? Is the trip in a bus with many stops along the way.

The tour lasts 12 hours; the approximate pick-up time is 6.30 am. The journey to Chichén Itzá takes around 3 hours, with a stop at a Mayan house where you can learn a little about the lifestyle of the people who live there. Then, at Chichen Itza, you'll spend around 2 hours exploring, after which you'll head to the cenote where you can swim and have a meal. There'll then be a quick stop in Valladolid before returning to Cancún

What is the cancellation policy for this tour if I book the tour and decide I want to cancel it later?

The cancellation policy is no penalty 7 days prior to arrival during the regular season and 25 days prior to arrival during the high season (Christmas and New Year's, Spring Break, Holy Week, and Summer). After those dates, 50% will be charged, and cancellations 1 day prior to arrival will be charged the full amount.

Can I be picked up from the airport on the first day?

We cannot delay the tour start, but we can arrange a private transfer from the airport if needed.

What happens if my arrival flight is delayed?

If your flight is delayed, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you in arranging new transfer times.

What are the meal inclusions during the tour?

Meals specified are daily breakfasts on days 2 & 3, and a lunch on the Chichen Itza tour as per the itinerary description.

Can I get a single supplement for traveling alone?

Since you are a single traveler, a solo traveler supplement is applicable to cover the cost of your private services.

If there are no additional passengers, we may need to charge a solo traveler fee to proceed with your reservation.

We arrived at the hotel Beachscape Kin Ha in the evening in Cancun and was told by the attendant at the front desk our names, Jeremy & Jeffrey, were not on the hotel list of reservations. It was very aggravating. We then contacted a representative at an emergency number of the travel agency, SAT Travel in Mexico. It took about an hour to straighten out. Furthermore, when we contacted the emergency evening number at the travel agency, we found out that the itinerary had changed such that pick up time for the bus at our hotel following morning changed to 6:30 AM instead of the original scheduled pickup time at 8AM. The travel agency failed to communicate the changes. We would have missed the entire first day tour due to lack of communication on their part. Furthermore, we were under the impression that the pickup from the hotel the second day was going to be in front of the hotel at the bus-stop as was the previous day. We tried to text the representative via What's App to find out if it was going to be the same bus as the previous day but got no response. It turned out that the guide from the tour bus tried to pick us up at the lobby instead of at the bus stop where they picked us up the preceding day. We called the representative at the emergency number several times and due to lack of communication on their part we missed the tour on the second day. The representative at the emergency number apologized several times for the lack of communication and said that they would place an order for Tourradar to us credit for the second day trip.Show more
