Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll land in Delhi and head to your hotel for check-in from mid-afternoon onward. Get settled and use the rest of the day to freshen up after your journey.

- Day 2
Delhi
Start with an orientation tour covering the Red Fort, India Gate, and Presidential Palace, then move on to Jama Masjid and Humayun's Tomb. A rickshaw ride takes you through local bazaars before lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. You'll have free time to rest, and this evening your Tour Director hosts a welcome dinner with a cooking demonstration and discussion about Indian cuisine led by a local chef.

Delhi - Agra
Visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret from the 11th century, followed by Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi's largest Sikh house of worship. After lunch, you'll drive to Agra and settle in for the night.

- Day 4
Agra
Rise early to catch the sunrise at the Taj Mahal, then take a guided tour inside the Mausoleum with time to wander on your own. Later, after some downtime, head to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The fortress features striking red sandstone construction hiding imperial palaces within.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambore National Park Area
Stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a former Mughal capital from the 16th century that sits abandoned after just 10 years due to water shortages. After lunch in Bharatpur, you'll board a train heading to Sawai Madhopur, the entry point to Ranthambore National Park, where spotting Bengal tigers is possible.

- Day 6
Ranthambore National Park Area
Two game drives in open-air safari vehicles let you search for Bengal tigers, leopards, sambar deer, sloth bears, marsh crocodiles, and striped hyenas throughout Ranthambore National Park. Between drives, you'll have free time to relax and process what you've seen.

Ranthambore National Park Area - Jaipur
Travel to Jaipur, called the 'Pink City' since 1876 when it was painted pink to welcome the Prince of Wales. Following lunch, you'll see Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site holding 19 astronomical instruments built in 1728, then tour the City Palace Museum with its paintings, carpets, weapons, and historical costumes.

- Day 8
Jaipur
Check out Amber Fort in the morning, known as the 'Sleeping Beauty of Rajasthan,' built with white marble and red sandstone featuring ornate royal apartments, an alabaster Hall of Victory, and a Chamber of Mirrors. Afterward, visit a local vocational training program for orphaned children. Tonight brings a home-hosted dinner with an Indian noble family, followed by a sari-and-turban-tying demonstration.

You'll fly to Kathmandu via Delhi, Nepal's capital. A Globus representative will meet you at the airport. Your Tour Director does not travel with you on this extension portion.

Your Local Guide leads morning sightseeing starting at Hanuman Dhoka, the historic royal seat, and the Temple of Kumari, home of the Living Goddess. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like.

Kathmandu - Patan Excursion
Travel with your Local Guide to Bouddhanath, one of the world's largest stupas and a key Tibetan Buddhist site in Nepal. From there, continue to Patan, formerly called Lalitpur (City of Beauty), to explore Durbar Square with its Buddhist and Hindu temples and religious structures.
