This card is personal and non-transferable and its duration is 90 days, extendable for another 90 days. The copy must remain in the tourist's possession for the duration of their stay in the country and must be presented to the International Police upon leaving Chile.

how long is the trekking for Torres del Paine? are we camping during the trek at Torrez del Paine?

It's full-day trekking that takes around 10 hours. No camping, just go to visit the towers and then return to the hotel. During June/July, the visit could be restricted to the weather conditions, so trekking cannot be guaranteed.

Am I required to pay for single supplement if I am traveling solo?

It is land ONLY snd it is NOT fully guided and often you are completely dependent on drivers that cannot speak a word of English!!!!! The agent changed the one hotel without tell us … from a spa hotel to shacks with no hot water…..Chile is amazing but you need to do a LOT of research if you are going to use this company as I said it is only hotel and transfers …. Do it online yourself …..you will save a fortune. Beware if you are going to use this tour get the airport codes near to where you are going so at least you know where to book you flightsShow more

Dear Trond, I´m sorry to hear about that. We talked many times about that, and I thought I was clear about that air tickets were not included as it´s wrote in the inclusions/exclusions area. The air tickets never were included. The guides are english speaking guides. Please let me know where the guides do not speak english and I will check what happened. As I told you with the hotel, we UPGRADED to a better hotel without extra charge. Availability in Torres del Paine is usually a problem. Hotels are booked very early in advance. It´s very important to read carefully what´s included and what´s not included. In spite of that, I know you misunderstood the situation and thought that air tickets were included and after that, you were not satisfied with the rest. But I really hope you enjoyed the trip in spite of the inconvenience.

The tour operator Ripiotourismo two times didn’t tell me the pickup time, one is geysers tour, one is pick time from kimal hotel to airport that I waited for 4 hours in hotel. Also the kimal staff helped me call several numbers in Argentina office and AtacamaConnecting office, for 4 hours, but nobody ever pick phone, also I walked to AtacamaConnecting office in the town, the staff didn’t speak any English, so we couldn’t communicate,I was very frustrated and very mad! Also in Torres del Paine NP, without car, we can do nothing, you recommended boat tour in the itinerary was in punta arena area, how can we do it? Glacier grey tour, we don’t have car, how can we join it? Self guide is not good idea,Show more

I´m sorry to hear that. but our local partner should inform pick up times on arrival. I´ve provided the phone numbers to contact them and I´m frustrated to hear that nobody answered you. I will check what happened with them. Torres del Paine is usually to enjoy trekkings, there are different trails and people use the self guided trails to enjoy the park. The optional activitites can be added with pick up from there at extra cost. Inh spite of the troubles, I hope you´ve enjoyed the trip. regards, Ramiro
