You'll check out after breakfast and head to Kolkata airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Once you land, your representative picks you up and drives you to Kalimpong, where you'll check in and have the rest of the day to yourself.

Kalimpong to Gangtok
Following breakfast, a guided tour takes you around Kalimpong to see Durpin Dara viewpoint, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, the Flower and Orchid Nurseries, and Dello Hill. After that, you'll drive to Gangtok, check into your hotel, and have your evening free.

Get up around 4 AM to head to Tiger Hills (8,364 ft/2,550 m) for sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak if weather cooperates. You'll get breakfast back at the hotel, stopping at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way. After freshening up, a guided tour covers the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, and a Tea Estate. Later, you're free for shopping or downtime.
