This trip will be taking place on the Kufner 57 which is a brand new 57-foot mono hull sailing yacht designed for space, comfort and style. As for the reviews, those were from years ago before we completely redid the itinerary, changes the yacht, and acquired better staff/skippers. If you check out this trip on our direct website you will see that the recent reviews are very high due to the changes we made and this is one of our best selling trips.

I am 88 years of age and have sailed a lot on the past but not as agile as I was. What type of craft is.

This trip has a rating of 3 out of 5 = This trip will raise your heart rate. Moderate physical activities are included and a good level of fitness is required. A zodiac is used to transport passengers from the boat to the mainland, with landings taking place at piers (dry landings) and on beaches (wet landings). Zodiacs can sometimes be awkward to climb in and out of, but a sense of humour and a can-do attitude is all you need. This is an adventure on board a real yacht, which means living spaces, cabins, bathrooms and showers need to be shared with other passengers. Sleeping quarters can be relatively compact, but you will spend most of your time above board in the open air.

Is there much partying/ nightlife opportunities (for under 30 year old's?)

Can the tours be modified at all? My Wife's mother's family was from Korcula and we would like to spend a couple of days there in the 8 days. What is the best way to manage this? Could we do 2 days in Korcula and another in Vela Luka and then Hvar then Split?

You don't need to know how to sail the boat but you are welcome to learn on the trip. If you have experience you can help the skipper crew and build on your skills. For people that want to get the most out of the experience they can learn about the basic parts of the boat in advance of the trip.

What is the sail boat like?

The sail boat is a mono-haul usually 50 ft long. Accommodation (births (beds) and bathrooms (heads) vary per trip. Usually there are at least two heads or more and beds are share or single bunk style. The boat is very comfortable and has a functioning kitchen and plenty of space on the deck for lounging and sailing!

What is the local payment?

For Croatia Sailing Adventure - Dubrovnik to Split, intrepid requires a Kitty, which is a cash contribution from all travellers into a central fund which is overseen by fellow travellers and the crew. The fund allows the crew to pay for local accomodations, camp meals and activities for the entire group. The local payment is not paid before the departure, but upon arrival at the tour.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
