Accommodation will be primarily in multi-share hostels (typically 6-8 people per room), with a choice of mixed gender and female-only dorms as well as available upgrades to twin-share rooms (same gender).

I'm 41 and this one is for 18-35 is that okay if I'll join?

This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions.

Yes, our age ranges are set in stone, these tours are aimed at first time travellers, who are looking to stay in dorm rooms where they can make friends around their own age, but we do have plenty of other tours to Costa Rica which are available to all ages.

Is transportation to and from the airport included? If not, I noticed the tour ends in Playa Tamarindo but the airport I'd have to fly out of is in Liberia. How would you recommend getting back to the airport?

It is highly recommended to take a flight that arrives at Liberia (LIR) Airport instead of SJO Airport. Once you arrive at Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR Airport) you will need to take a taxi to get to the hotel, which is around 15 minutes drive. So that will be both ways that you can take a taxi since we do not offer the transfer services.

Are group sizes limited?

Yes, group sizes are typically capped to enhance the travel experience.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
