I'm just wondering about the age here. I'm 49 would i be allowed on the trip?

All Topdeck trips are designed for and aimed at the 18-39-year-old market. The average age on most of our trips is around 23-25 years old. Most of our trips are based on share accommodation, and our passengers expect to be sharing with fellow travellers of the same age. We have up to 50 passengers on some of our trips and we do need to keep in mind that when they book their trip, they all expect to be travelling with people of the same age group (18-39 years). We're deeply sorry that you are unable to join the trip, but unfortunately, we must adhere to our company's promise. We have a sister company called Back-Roads Touring, which offers tours for your demographic.

Is it possible to get a private room in the hostel?

Our Get Social tours are only shared dorm accommodation style. Unfortunately, we aren't able to allocate private hostel rooms. Our Play & Pause and Delve Deep tours are the hotel style accommodation where they can opt for a double room.

Is there a chance to upgrade my hostel stay to a hotel? Is it ok if im 41 years of age?

Unfortunately, with our Get Social tours it is hostel accommodation only with no opportunity to upgrade to a hotel. We also have a strict age limit which is 18-39 years old for all Topdeck tours.

Can I take it in July or August 2023? Late July July 28th would be perfect.

As this is a winter tour, the first departure date is 25 November. Would you be interested in this date? Alternatively, feel free to check out out Delve Deep: Denmark, Norway and Sweden Tour as this has a 16 July and 13 August departure and goes for 13 days!

Overall I had an excellent experience! Hannah was extremely knowledgeable, organised and fun to travel with. Isaac (chef) and Dario (driver) were also fantastic at their jobs and great to talk to. I would have preferred a little more organised activity. Compared to trips I have done in the past, this one seemed very 'hands off'. The activities that were organised for us were pretty great though. Highly recommend the Town Hall tour in Stockholm. The accommodation in Copenhagen and Stockholm were great, in Berlin was fine, but the accommodation in Oslo was very poor. My room had one power point for 8 people, the facilities are quite old and it was just not a very pleasant place to stay. The included meals were much better than expected. All the meals Isaac made were delicious and had generous portions. Overall I would definitely recommend the tour, but better accommodation in Oslo and a few more organised activities/optionals (especially at night) would be great.Show more
