On this cruise, you would be visiting at least three Christmas Markets during your journey. These will be in Rüdesheim, Strasbourg, and Koblenz. You can also experience the Cologne Christmas Market before or after the cruise begins, which many travelers choose to do to extend the festive experience. Regarding English-speaking excursions, these are available at an additional cost. A reservation in advance is needed to guarantee English-speaking availability, and the excursions will be paid for onboard. After your booking is confirmed, you will receive a personal link to A-ROSA's portal, where you can view, add, and book any of the available shore excursions directly.

Shore excursions can be pre-booked, however, you will always have to pay for them onboard.   A-ROSA is a German cruise operator and many of their guests are indeed German-speaking. However, they always make sure to accommodate English-speaking guests on board. The reviews you saw on our platform are from some time ago, and A-ROSA has since taken action based on that feedback to improve the experience for non-German speakers.
  
  You can pre-book excursions online in English, but please note that the final booking and payment for these excursions are completed on board. As English-language excursions require a minimum number of participants to operate, it is very important to check the daily program once you are on the ship to see which tours are confirmed and available in English.
  
  If you would prefer a cruise that offers more consistently English-speaking excursions, we can absolutely help you look at alternative options and find something that better matches your preferences.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
