  This was my first time in Thailand, and I was glad to have the support of the tour to get around and see these amazing locations. The hotels were very nice and had some good food. The temples we were able to visit were beautiful, and our tour guide, Mrs. A, did an amazing job at capturing pictures of us throughout each location. The hardest part of the tour had to be the long travel days. Spending 4-6+ hours traveling between regions was hard, and it felt at times that we lost time on exploring or experiencing certain locations due to traveling constraints. As I only did the Thailand portion of the trip, I was very excited to see all aspects of the locations; however, for those who had been traveling with the group longer, some sites were repetitive for them. While I understand wanting to take breaks from repeating temples and other locations, it did dim the experience for me and those just joining the tour, having to hear complaints and having to decide to skip some locations to please the majority. I think having different activities/locations for tour members who have been on the tour for longer would be a great idea for future tours. That way, those who are just starting can have the full experience or decide if the scheduled itinerary is something they would like to partake in. Lastly, I was lucky to meet some great people on this tour, and it had me thinking that it would be good for those signing up for future tours to be able to talk to the people they would be traveling with beforehand. That way, the travelers are already familiar with each other and are able to make friends/a community before the tour even starts.Show more

Our guides do their best to balance group preferences, while keeping the itinerary on track for everyone.   While I am a bit late submitting this review, I can honestly say that this was one of my best experiences as a traveler. Andy was such an amazing human being and guide. He ensured that we had the best experience as he was very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and had a great sense of humor.   Fabulous tour visiting all the important and amazing sights of Thailand in one week. I couldn’t visit Thailand on my own in a week and learn so much about the culture, history and nature. Thanks to our guide for sharing his knowledge with us and showing every corner of his own country in details. Some days were tiring, the distances are not short and you need to prepare yourself for long rides, but we have not missed any sight or temple as stated on the itinerary of the trip. Hotels met my expectations, centrally located decent accommodations. In general, that’s the correct trip if you wish to discover Thailand in a week or so.Show more

  Sadly, sone very long drives per say, over 12.5 hours, we misses out on some of the itinerary activities, lake, lunch, tea plantation . Had a physical accident on penultimate day of tour and sadly discovered there was no first aid box on our bus, the tour rep did accompany us to the next hospital for medical assistance.Show more

  Our guide, Richie, was very pleasant and knowledgeable but much of the information he gave us was lost due to his very heavily accented English. The tour promised us free time to explore after the day's activities but twice we reached our hotel after 7 pm so only had time to eat, shower and sleep before the following day's 6 am wake up ready to be on the coach at 7 am. Disappointing and exhausting. The trip to the War Museum and Bridge on the River Kwai was excellent as was the Elephant Eco Valley trip. However, other than those 2 experiences the entire trip was filled with temple visits. Although some of these were excellent, I'm sure there are more cultural activities to be found in Thailand which would have made the tour much more enjoyable.Show more
