    • Bhutan Acorn Tours & TravelOperatorWritten March 2024

Currently, the return economy airfare from Kathmandu to Bhutan is USD 455 per person. The national flag carrier, Drukair, and the private airline, Bhutan Airlines, have not yet released their flight schedules for next year. We are hopeful that they will publish the schedules soon. There are daily flights between Kathmandu and Paro (Bhutan), and I'm sure there will be daily flights next year as well.

Airport pick up and drop off have to be pre-arranged. Once you book your flights to and from Bhutan, please send us your flight details and then we will arrange a guide and driver to pick you up without fail. We need the following documents: a clear copy of your passport, a passport-size photograph, a copy of travel insurance valid for the duration of your visit, and your residential address & contact number. The visa process takes about 4-5 days on average but may take up to 10 days. Visa is 100% guaranteed as long as you provide the mentioned documents. For Nepal, you need to apply on your own.
