  I booked this trip 4 days before departure just before the New Years. I was surprised to get confirmation and prompt communication from Mr Ali. Since i did not have enough time to arrange for visa, I travelled and requested a visa on arrival at the airport. Cost is 25 USD (cash). Egypt tours club arranged for a pick up and representative had already arranged a visa sticker, i was taken straight to immigration officer for quick passport stamping. This was the fastest immigration of my life. I was taken to the hotel (New Star Zamalek) in a private car. At the hotel i was greeted with another representative from the tour company, who sent there to ensure my check-in was smooth. The representative took a picture of me on the phone, which I found was odd, but it was coordination with other tour guides, so don’t be surprised or offended. I was offered a upgrade to suite. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom certainly could see some renovation/ upkeep. Given it was 3 star accommodation, it was okay for a night's stay. However, if you are planning a pre/post night, consider upgrading. For the first day, you get free time to do time at your leisure, so i booked a dinner cruise on Nile with dance show (From Viator), see pictures attached. On day 2, breakfast was decent. I was informed by Mr Ali via what’s app, my guide and driver will be at hotel for pick up after breakfast. Day 2 you visit Pyramids of Giza (Guided)- Ms Alaa was knowledgeable guide. Post visit, i had upgrade to visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum ($50 USD). Truely amazing experience, (See pictures). Post tour, i was taken straight to railway station. I had opted for an upgrade sleeper class ($90 usd additional). Base package includes a VIP seater class. However tour company did not specify upgrade to DELUX sleeper class only, and not VIP Sleeper class. A deluxe sleeper class ticket cost $105, and VIP sleeper cost $135. DELUX Sleeper class are dilapidated/ old car. Washroom are terrible. If you are women, you would not be able to use the washroom in DELUX sleeper. Had the tour company offered a VIP sleeper option , I would have taken it. Tour company did offer a flight at $140 usd/ p/ oneway. So either take the flight or VIP sleeper option. See pictures of DELUX Cabin and decide for yourself. Dinner and breakfast is served on train. Food options are limited. So bring your own snacks. Day 3 - You reach Luxor in the morning, You are meet by your driver at train platform. They recognize you with the picture taken on Day 1 (which becomes a pass key for you to trust the person). You are take to Valley of kings, where you see tombs of kings, I got to see 3 tombs, there are many more. But some are not always open. After that you drive for quick stop at Memnon Colossi. Take pictures and move on to Karnak Temple. You would be given a guide tour and time to take pictures. So this would be a rush morning. You will be taken to train station for your train to Aswan. Again you will be put on DELUX coach seater. For 3 hours you will be travel down south towards Aswan. You reach Aswan depending on your departure from Luxor, usually reach around 5/6 pm. You are greeted by a representative, who shows you are photo on their phone (Pass key). Hotel (Marhaba) is at the walking distance. I requested Nile view. I was offered a top floor room with gorgeous Nile views. At night you can go to terrace and watch the city. There is a market next to hotel for quick souvenir shopping. Day 4- I had opted for Abu Simbel tour -Private ($250 usd). There are cheaper Group tours available for 80/90 usd, but you are traveling by bus and waking at 4/5 am. I was picked up by guide and driver in the morning at 7:30 am. We first visited Philae Temple (Took a boat across to the island). Sent around 2 hours for tour, pictures and breakfast. Then we started our journey towards south Abu Simbel (approx 3.5 hrs), You reach Abu Simbel, you are given guidance. Guides not allowed in temple. You spend 2 hours and return back to Aswan (3.5 hours). Abu Simbel is a must see. See picture. Upon your return you are taken to station and boarded on your train back to Cairo (Again a dexlure sleeper cabin, which was in more worst condition then the Journey down south). Day 5 - You reach cairo, greated by driver. I opted for old cairo tour ($125 usd) instead of alexandria ($250 usd). There were cheaper options online, but i opted for convenience over hassle. I spend the morning visit old cairo, citadel of sultan and market tour of khan el khalil (which was the best part). Around 2 pm i was returned to hotel. Free time from here on. I opted for private Nile sail on felucca and night in desert with dinner . Both booked via viator. Day 6- Your airport transfer is arranged according to your flight Pros- Value for money, Constant communication from head office (Mr Ali), Cooperative guides, Support of drivers and greeters Somethings to change : Room conditions should be checked before checking in, Upgrade to flight or Vip Sleeper should be offered as base, instead of delux. Tip: Coordinate with Mr ali on whats app before booking the tour for better understanding. Tipping is part of culture. Overall it was fun and worth the money !!Show more

  My main guide tour is Mostafa, he is the best guide I can said!!! I’ll give him 10/10 stars ⭐️ First of all, when I have any problem during the trip, if I message him, he’ll reply me at first if he can, and he will try his best to take care of the traveler. Like, when I was in the tour, I have some problem between the hotel, and Mostafa help me to solve this situation to lemme can get into the hotel to have a rest. Second, when you have some requests, you can also ask Mostafa, he’s really willing to help you. Finally, I’m a single female traveler, so Mostafa will make sure I’m safe or not, and tell you all the details of the trip. To be honest, this trip is quite rush, but I really enjoyed that. I immersed myself into the culture in Egypt, like how they take the transportation everyday, and how they live, I meet some of Egyptian friends during this trip, especially on the train (but I know highly recommend to upgrade to the sleeping train, it’ll be better if you prefer the comfortable area to sleep), so I’m really satisfied 😍!Show more

  I would tell them that it was the most fun I’ve had in ages!! And it was such an amazing experience!! There were so many things I learned from our tour guides, Miriam and Abdel Rehman. Both of them were incredible!! They took such good care of us!! And truly talked about these places like they had lived amongst them at the time. And so were the places!! I loved all the places we went to!! I reminded me so much of back home. I would recommend her and this package to anyone travelling to Egypt, especially for the first time.Show more
