Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport where your tour representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and adjust to Kathmandu.

Kathmandu
This morning kicks off with a full day of sightseeing starting at Pashupatinath temple, the most sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva on the banks of the Bagmati River. From there you'll head to Sanga near Bhaktapur to see Kailashnath Mahadev, the world's tallest Shiva statue standing at 143 feet, which has a health club, meditation center, spa, and yoga center on site.

Kathmandu
After breakfast you'll travel south through forested lands and valleys to reach Dakshinkali Temple, dedicated to goddess Kali about 22 kilometers from Kathmandu. Later in the afternoon you'll visit Budhanilkantha Temple at the base of Shivapuri Hill to see the 5-meter-long sleeping statue of Lord Vishnu resting in a small pond. Then it's back to your hotel for the night.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
The drive takes you 100 kilometers to Kurintar for a visit to Manakamana Temple, known as the wish-granting goddess temple. You'll ride the cable car to the top, which takes about 10 minutes with nice views along the way. After exploring the temple, you'll descend and continue driving another 100 kilometers to Pokhara. By evening you'll get out on Phewa Lake for a boat ride and watch the sunset before checking into your hotel.

Pokhara to Jomsom
An early breakfast comes before your 30-minute flight to Jomsom. Once you land and check in, a 20-kilometer jeep ride takes you to Ranipauwa, and from there it's roughly a 45-minute walk to Muktinath Temple, one of the greatest pilgrimage sites for Hindus. You'll also visit Jwala Mai Temple to see the natural eternal flames before heading back by jeep to your hotel.

Jomsom to Pokhara
An early morning flight gets you to Pokhara where you'll check in and start exploring. You'll begin at Bindabashini Temple, then continue to Devi's Fall waterfall and Gupteshwor Cave. Later you'll take a boat to Tal Barahi Temple, an island temple sitting in the middle of Phewa Lake. The day finishes with free time to walk around the lakeside.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
You'll drive 200 kilometers back to Kathmandu, crossing valleys and rivers with views of gorges, ridges, and settlements scattered throughout. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is open for exploring the Kathmandu valley. Before bed, pack your luggage in preparation for your flight home tomorrow.

Departure from Kathmandu
A transfer takes you to Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight back home, leaving with the calm that comes from visiting so many important Hindu pilgrimage sites across Nepal.
