Individual Arrival
You'll arrive at your starting point and get settled in. If you want to start things early, there's a chance to come a day ahead and take a day trip out to where the Isar begins. It's a nice option if you have the extra time and want to see the river's source before the main tour kicks off.

Mittenwald to Bad Tölz
Today you're cycling from Mittenwald to Bad Tölz, following the mountain river the whole way. There's a sportier route option over the Rauchenberg if you're up for something more challenging. You'll ride through quiet villages and market towns, and there's a stop along the way to grab lunch and try some local Bavarian food before finishing up in Bad Tölz's charming old town.

- Day 3
Bad Tölz to Munich
You'll cycle through several small Bavarian villages, passing through Osterhof, Königsdorf, Geretsried, and Gartenberg before heading to the Loisach-Isar Canal near Gelting. From Wolfratshausen, you can watch raft trips heading down the Isar if you take a moment to stop. After that, continue on to Munich. Your hotel is close to Theresienwiese, and you'll have a chance to visit the Bavaria statue.

Munich to Moosburg
This is a longer cycling day along the Isar Cycle Path from Munich heading toward Moosburg. You're riding through green landscapes with dense forests and wide meadows surrounding you. The path takes you through various villages, and you'll see the river regularly throughout the day with natural floodplains and different plant and animal life all around.

Moosburg to Dingolfing
You're cycling through several Bavarian villages today with lots of open fields around the peaceful Isar. There are plenty of spots along quieter stretches where you can pull over and take a break if you need one. Small forests and rolling hills break up the landscape as you make your way toward Dingolfing, a historic town that'll be your destination for the day.

Dingolfing to Plattling
Today's route takes you through quiet villages and wide fields with nice views of the Isar along the way. Before reaching Plattling, consider taking a detour to see where the Isar flows into the Danube, which is a significant natural spot and an important habitat for wildlife. Finish your day in Plattling's charming old town.
