Is there a possibility to add a private trip to see the Redwoods

If you book one or more additional nights in San Francisco, then you would have the option to book a private trip to see the Redwoods. Or if your flights is in late afternoon on the day of departure, then you could do this as well. Do note that we do not offer private tours of the Redwoods. Also, the Western Wonders of September 14 is currently sold out.

May I know what type of van is used how many pax per tour group? what's the difference between the hotels?

This tour will be operated in either a Sprinter Van or a full-size coach, depending on the group size. The maximum number of passengers per vehicle is 52, although we do not expect to get that many for this particular departure.

I'm interested in doing this tour in either April or May as part of my gap year travelling. I am 19 years old and am hoping to go on a trip like this to meet others around a similar age to me. On the description it shows the age range as being from 5-99, however please would you be able to tell me whether you have a lot of younger travellers booking this trip?

Our groups are usually rather diverse in age, with most travelers being aged 30 and older. The vast majority of our passengers speak Italian and Spanish, and may not even speak English. We do offer a departure of the Western Wonders with narration in English on a multilingual basis (May 7), but as mentioned, the bulk of the other passengers will speak Italian and Spanish instead.

  Is there an option for us to put in a deposit first and if it's going to be a sprinter van, we can withdraw from the tour? Is the deposit refundable? Or any option for us to top up for a more comfortable vehicle?

  Would you recommend staying at the Westin Bounevard or the Hilton Lax airport hotel? Will it be safe staying at the downtown hotel?

  Either the Hilton LAX or the Westin Bonaventure are in safe locations. I recommend staying at the Westin Bonaventure as a downtown hotel will give you more options for sightseeing, dining, etc.
