Could you clarify the details for days one and two? This is what the tour overview says: Day one, get to the hotel yourself and have free time, with the starting point at 7:45 a.m. in the office... Day two, after breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Madrid... and nothing is said about the office or the time. So when should we arrive at the office: on the first day when we check in or after breakfast on the second day? After all, our first excursion is on the second day? And what does that magical number of 7:45 a.m. mean? And one more thing. Will we have a group leader? If so, where and when will we have our first meeting with them?

On the first day, please go directly to the hotel. Rooms are available from 2:00 p.m. onwards. The rest of the day is free. On the second day, a panoramic tour of Madrid is included. To take part, please come to our offices. The time will be confirmed a few days before departure. After the city tour, the rest of the time is free for you to explore the city on your own. On the third day, you will be picked up at the hotel to begin the tour. In any case, once you have made your reservation, you will be sent your travel vouchers with all the detailed schedule information.

Is the date tour 26/07/25 has already granted to Alhahambraon that trip? If not when is the closest date to have certain entry?

Now in summer there are no ticketing problems. there are usually problems for the October tour.

I would like to know at what time at morning the pick up from the hotel for spain tour?

Is the pick up from hotel usualy before 8:00 am?

most of the included visits are panoramic visits with no entrance fees. Tickets to visit the Alhambra are included, with general admission + gardens of the Generalife. The Nazari palaces are not included.

What is included with "Transport"? How do we book flights to meet our tour group?

This tour starts in Madrid. The flight and the transfer from the airport to the hotel is not included. You will have to arrive on your own at the hotel confirmed for the tour. The first day you can arrive whenever you want, as the first day only includes accommodation.

Are meals included in the tour package?

Specifics about meal inclusions depend on the tour package. Typically, some meals are included, but details will be specified in your booking confirmation.

Are the guests gathering at Calle De Ferraz at 7.45 am to go to the accommodation at Pueerta de Toledo. Can one go directly to the hotel we are staying at, at any time during the day, on the first day of the tour?

On the first day of the tour, you must go on your own to the hotel confirmed in the tour, you can check in at the hotel from 14:00. On the second day, you must go to the VPT offices, Calle Ferraz for the city tour. On the third day to start the tour, you will be picked up at the hotel.

Do I need a specific type of visa for the tour?

You should check the visa requirements based on your nationality and the countries you will be visiting during the tour.

Would we be able to take a day tour to somewhere like Avila on our own since it's free time that day?

We offer an excursion to Avila and Segovia but it leaves early at 8:30. I do not know if you would have time to take it.

Is the tour free and easy on the first day? Is lodging included on first day? Does the tour start on 2nd day? Do I need to arrive at 0745 to the office? Is the booked hotel near the meeting place?

Accommodation in Madrid on the first day is included. You can check in at the hotel from 15:00 hrs onwards. The second day has the panoramic tour included. We will pick you up at the hotel for the start of the tour to Seville.

Overall a good tour. The tour in Madrid was incomplete (did not tour the palace as indicated and was unable to get last minute tickets on my own). This could have been better communicated by the tour agency. The panoramic tour was fine. There was some confusion with buses on the day we left for Cordoba and Seville which caused a late departure, but was fine once we got going. The cities visited and the local tour guides were all great. The hotels were fine, maybe not in the most central locations but were fine for this purpose. The behaviour of some of the guests on this tour was deplorable and embarrassing. Obviously not the fault of the tour itself and the guides handled the situations well. I enjoyed the tour and knew it would be early mornings and long days which was fine as it allowed us to see the sites as expected in the cities beyond Madrid. The optional tours I chose were also good.Show more

Overall the tour was fine. The hotels were all very good and generally in good locations. It was your typical somewhat of a "forced march" tour, but there is a lot of ground to cover so you expect that. The tour bus was reasonably comfortable. The tour staff and drivers were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to people's needs along the way with frequent stops for comfort needs. My only complaint was the tour guide at the Alhambra who spent to much time talking about what tourists can do in Granada using up the time available for the tour and actually, as best I can determine, skipped a very important part of the Alhambra on the tour, the Patio de Los Leones, one of the most beautiful parts of the complex. I have been to the Alhambra before and from my own research I know this was passed over on the tour. A very great disappointment. This was not the fault of the tour operator as the guide there was not their staff. However, since this was for me the primary reason to take this particular tour program, it did not then meet my expectations for the tour as presented. The time in the other cities and what was covered was perfectly fine. That having been said I would still be fine recommending this tour to first time travelers. Just be prepared for long bus rides and early departures needed to cover the ground.Show more
