Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris
You'll make your own way to Paris and get settled into your hotel. Later this evening, your guide will pick you up and take you to a traditional French restaurant nearby where you'll have dinner with the rest of your group. It's a good way to meet everyone and ease into the trip with some local food and conversation.

- Day 2
Paris
Start your day meeting a local guide who'll take you through Paris using the metro, bus, and walking to hit the main landmarks. You'll head to the Arc de Triomphe first, then walk down the Champs Élysées toward Place de la Concorde. After that, you'll check out the Louvre and make your way to Opéra Bastille and the Quartier Latin, seeing how different neighborhoods connect and flow together. By late afternoon, things shift to something more relaxed. You'll board a boat on the Seine near the Eiffel Tower, spending time on the water and seeing the city from a completely different angle as you float past illuminated buildings and bridges.

- Day 3
Paris
Begin on the southern bank of the Seine at Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, which sits on an island in the river's middle. From there, you'll continue walking past the Sorbonne and up to St. Genoveva's hill where the Pantheon stands. Around lunchtime, you'll arrive at Marché Mouffetard market where the group stops to sample local food and have a picnic together, getting a real feel for how Parisians shop and eat. Your afternoon is free to wander on your own, but later you'll meet back up with your guide for a tour of the Musée d'Orsay. This museum sits inside an old train station and holds paintings, photographs, sculptures, design pieces, and architecture that cover a fascinating period of art history.

- Day 4
Paris
Head to the Louvre with an audio guide that'll walk you through the collection. You'll see the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Michelangelo's Slaves among other works. After spending time inside, take a break at the Palais Royal where the gardens offer a nice spot to rest. From there, you'll go to the Basilica of Saint-Denis, which is a Gothic structure and serves as the burial site for French kings.

- Day 5
Paris
Spend your morning and early afternoon at the Musée Rodin, where you'll walk through a beautiful city palace and French gardens filled with sculptures by Auguste Rodin. You'll see his most recognized works like the 'Thinker' and 'Gates of Hell,' plus sculptures by Camille Claudel and pieces from Rodin's private collection that include work by van Gogh. Next, you'll visit the Invalides complex with its golden dome to see Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb and the museums inside this historic building that once housed soldiers recovering from wounds. Your afternoon opens up and you're free to do your own thing, whether that's heading to the Palace of Versailles or checking out Centre Pompidou. Come evening, your guide picks things back up and takes you to Montmartre, the old artists' quarter, where you'll see the Sacré-Cœur and then settle in for dinner at a traditional Montmartre restaurant with a lively local atmosphere.

Have a full breakfast at the hotel before you head out. After that, you're free to make your own arrangements to travel back home to Germany. The group portion of the trip wraps up here, so timing is up to you for your departure.
