Hanoi
You'll arrive in Vietnam and get a transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for things at your own pace.

Hanoi
The guided city tour kicks off at 8:00 AM, hitting historic sites like Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island and the Ho Chi Minh Complex with his mausoleum. You'll also see the One Pillar Pagoda, check out Vietnam Ethnology Museum (or Women Museum if the first is closed), walk through the Temple of Literature, and stop by Hoa Lo Prison Museum. By evening, you'll head back to your hotel after catching a water puppet show.

Ninh Binh - Hanoi
An early departure gets you to Ninh Binh province with a quick rest stop along the way. At Hoa Lu, you'll learn about Vietnam's feudal history before grabbing lunch at a local spot. After that, Trang An UNESCO World Heritage Site is next, where a 2.5-hour boat trip takes you through tunnel caves and karst landscape. Forty-five minutes of cycling around the village lets you see how locals live, then it's back to Hanoi by evening.

- Day 4
Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
A private transfer takes you to Tuan Chau Marina where you'll board the cruise ship and meet the captain and crew over a welcome drink before checking into your cabin. Lunch happens while cruising, then you'll explore Surprising Cave with its stalactites and stalagmites. Titop Island comes next for swimming and climbing to the peak for views across the bay. Evening brings a sunset party and cooking class on the sundeck, dinner, and a night onboard.

After breakfast onboard, you'll kayak around Luon Cave to explore the Natural Preservation Zone, then return to the cruise to freshen up. The day continues with views of fishing villages and natural landmarks like Ba Hang and Dog Islet as you sail. Lunch is served onboard before disembarking at Tuan Chau Marina. Your driver meets you for the transfer back to Hanoi, arriving around 2:30 PM for check-in and free time.

Strolling around the countryside village, a temple, and pagoda rounds out the cultural experience before you shop for silk and return to your hotel.
