Resia
You'll arrive in Val Venosta Valley and head to Lake Resia, where you'll see the famous tower rising from the water. After settling into your hotel, spend your first hours taking in the mountain views and getting acclimated to the area before your hiking adventure starts tomorrow.

- Day 2
Resia to Burgusio/Malles
The day begins with a bus ride past Lake Resia and its former church tower. From there, you'll hike through Talaiwald forest to reach a quiet village, then down to fishing huts on Lake Haidersee. You'll walk along the shore crossing wooden bridges and watching ducks from secluded spots, then head across mountain meadows and pastureland on the Sonnensteig trail down to Burgusio.

Burgusio/Malles to Silandro
This morning you'll hike the Sonnensteig and Oberwaal Waalweg trails while learning about Vinschgau Valley legends and taking in views of snow-covered peaks. You'll visit Ganglegg, an important Bronze and Iron Age hilltop settlement in the Alpine region, and cross impressive bridges and wooden walkways over the gorge. By evening, you'll take the Vinschgaubahn train to Silandro.

Silandro to Naturno
Follow the high trail along sunny slopes to Vezzan, and if you're up for it, take a detour to a suspension bridge over the Tisser mountain stream. Later you'll hike the Latschander Waalweg trail high above the Etschtal valley through vineyards to Kastelbell castle. After that, a leisurely train ride through the South Tyrol landscape brings you to your hotel with an adventure pool.

Naturno to Parcines
You'll hike high above the valley on the rocky Sonnenberg Panorama Trail with views of orchards on the valley floor below. After stopping at a snack station by the mountain stream, you'll cross an airy suspension bridge to Parcines. From there, continue through orchards and vineyards, or take the more relaxed Rittersteig through forest and vineyards past a knight's castle if you prefer a gentler pace.

Parcines to Merano
Your final hiking day takes you along the watercourse through tunnels and shady woodland, following the Algunder Waalweg trail through vineyards with views over the Adige Valley and mountains. You'll finish your journey on the Tappeiner Promenade, hiking up to the sunny spa town of Merano where palm trees and cacti grow in the Mediterranean climate.
