All days are guided tour days. Taxi are available to/from airport.

Your description of the tour says it is "Medium Intensity" and that travelers should be comfortable with somewhat demanding activities. What are the demanding activities? The activities look like guests are transported by van to all locations. I had knee replacement surgery six months ago and can walk on level surfaces with no problem but I have difficulty going up and down stairs. Will that be an issue?

The tour is more of a sightseeing, it is consider easy to moderate level. Medium intensity is based on the late nights northern lights activity, some walking and exploring in snow during winter months, etc. There wont be any stairs based activities in general.

What is the policy on travel insurance?

Travel insurance is not included in the tour price and is the responsibility of the traveller to arrange.

Do you provide appropriate footwear for rent?

You usually need a winter boots or hiking shoes with a woolen socks. Unfortunately we do not provide footwear.

Is transportation provided during the tour?

All transportation is provided during the tour, including transfers by SUV or VAN which also covers fuel costs.

Can I add the clothing and equipment designed to keep you warm and safe during cold weather activities.

We will provide with a packing list, it will help you to dress properly so you can enjoy this tour and adeventure.

We are wanting to travel to Fairbanks to see the northern lights in Nov. 2025. There could be 6 of us in our group. We have been to Denali and wondered what are our chances of going to the Artic Circle rather than Denali.

Do you lend appropriate winter clothing during the Northern Lights research tour?

No we do not provide the clothing, the guest will have to get their own winter clothing.

The hotel we book is Clarion Hotel & Suites Fairbanks near Ft Wainwright. We can run this tour with a minimum of 2 guests so if they wants to start the tour on 2nd, 3rd or 4th Nov then we can manage to that as well. In that case you do not need to book extra hotel stay.

  Thanks and for the yellow stone one airport pick up and drop is included but for the Alaska one tour & National parks tours, This is not an option correct?

  For Yellowstone tour mainly the airport from Bozeman to West yellowstone (1 hr drive) is included, and your tour ends in Jackson so there will a shuttle that will cost $10 which can be paid in the bus. For Alaska we will share the taxi numbers for airport transfer. The hotel is less then 15 mins form airport. Airport transfer is not included in the package (it may cost $15 one way)
