- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam and have the afternoon to settle into your hotel at your own pace. At 5pm, meet your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Reception. After that, you'll take a scenic canal cruise through the tree-lined waterways of the Old City, then head to a local restaurant for dinner and wine.

Amsterdam to Würzburg
The route takes you along the Rhine Valley toward Würzburg, with views of the impressive Marienburg Fortress, a baroque palace that's one of Germany's most significant landmarks. Once you arrive, a Local Expert guides you through the UNESCO World Heritage Site Würzburg Residenz, where you can see intricate decorations and lavish rooms influenced by French, Austrian, and Venetian styles.

Würzburg to Prague
You'll head to Rothenburg ob der Tauber in the morning, a beautifully preserved medieval town along the Romantic Road. From there, you continue east toward the Czech border, passing through Pilsen, which is known for its beer production. You arrive in Prague by evening, and there's an optional river cruise through the city if you're interested.

Prague

You'll travel through Bohemia's forested countryside toward Hungary, following the River Danube as it leads to Budapest. Vienna
You have options to tour Vienna's heritage sites. In the morning, there's a private tour available of Maria Theresa's Schönbrunn Palace and its formal gardens. The Ring Road tour shows you architectural highlights like the Opera House, Hofburg Imperial Residence, Parliament Building, and Karlskirche. Your day ends with traditional coffee and pastries at a local café.

You'll travel through Styria's forested mountains and the Carinthian Lake District, passing Wörthersee, Europe's warmest lake. After crossing into Italy near Tarvisio and descending through mountain valleys, you arrive in Venice by private boat. There's time for cocktails at Café Florian with live music, then you'll stroll past the Doge's Palace and Bridge of Sighs to reach Principessa restaurant for dinner featuring traditional Venetian dishes. Later, you can experience the quiet of St. Mark's Square once the day-trippers have left.
