All our interactions with Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travels, from the initial contact to the planning and realisation of our trip were very smooth, professional and enjoyable. We were able to have a custom-based designed programme meeting our needs, which in our case included a desire to immerse ourselves as a family of four into the culture of Bhutan by getting to know the culture, people, historical and religious sites, while spending every day some time in nature and doing some hikes. The stay over 2 days in a Homestay, the trek and arrival on the Tiger’s Nest from the top, and lunches at various people’s home are among the numerous highlights from our trip. Our guide, Tashi Dorji, was very knowledgeable and always keen and enthusiastic to share his knowledge and passion. And our driver, Kinley, was very safe and very considerate and adding a personal touch through his musical talents. We really appreciated the depth, authenticity and richness of the experience we were able to have within 12 days and are leaving with some beautiful memories and friends that will stay for ever.Show more
