    Carla

    Asked on January 30th, 2024

What level of fitness is required? What is recommended training. Will we need mountaineering training for this?

    Tour Details
    • Bhutan Acorn Tours & TravelOperatorWritten January 2024

If you are hikers and physically fit, no mountaineering training is required. Do you have prior experience of hiking at some high altitude? It will definitely help if you do. If you don't, no problem as long as you are physically fit. You will have some time to adapt to the high altitude before starting the trek. However, I recommend you train and maybe seek advice from your physician.
