Asked on January 7th, 2022I have a folding mini electric scooter that I travel with. I use it when there is extensive walking. When folded it measures 30 inches length, 18 inches wide, 12 inches depth. will I be able to store this on the various ways of transportation?

The Galapagos Islands surfaces are uneven as they can be sandy or rocky. Consequently, I am afraid your mini scooter will not work for walks on the Galapagos. Excursions are two to three hours long but go really slow as our guide stops to give explanations about the wildlife and history at each site and for travelers to take pictures.

Traveler•Written January 2022I am not sure I understand. Where would I store my scooter? I can walk at slow pace and stop to rest. Then pick up. I just finished a 6 day trip through the Mojave Desert where we biked 20 miles a day. I just struggle walking far. If the rocks and sand is too much I do not mind sitting resting and doing yoga.

Storing the scooter is not a problem. We can ask the crew to store it for you in the boat. If you cannot make the walk, we can take you on a dingy ride where you can observe the island shores and cliffs if the Galapagos National Park authorizes it. Otherwise, you can stay on board and do yoga.
