Arrival in Tegucigalpa
You'll arrive at the airport where someone meets you for a private drive to Tegucigalpa. The capital city becomes your base for the evening, giving you time to check into your hotel and get settled after your journey.

- Day 2
Valle de Ángeles - Santa Lucía
After breakfast, take a guided tour through downtown Tegucigalpa to see colonial architecture and stop at the Cathedral of San Miguel Arcángel, Central Park, and the Museum for National Identity. By late morning, head up to El Picacho Hill for views across the city. In the afternoon, drive to Valle de Ángeles where you can walk the cobblestone streets and look at local handicrafts. Then continue up to the mountain village of Santa Lucía to visit the colonial church before heading back, with nice views of the lagoon and valley along the way.

Tegucigalpa to Comayagua to Lake Yojoa
Leave Tegucigalpa early by private vehicle, taking the scenic route through mountains and valleys. You'll arrive in Comayagua, Honduras's former capital, to check out the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and see its famous old clock from the 12th century. After that, explore the Taulabé Caves where stalactites and stalagmites create interesting rock formations. Later transfer to your accommodation on the shores of Lake Yojoa, settling in for the night.

Lake Yojoa
Following breakfast, head to Joya Grande Zoo to see native and exotic animals while the visit supports conservation work in the region. In the afternoon, go to Pulhapanzak Waterfalls where the water drops over 43 meters, then walk the different trails to see various angles and swim in the natural pools if you'd like. Before dinner, you'll try kayaking on the channel that flows into Lake Yojoa, paddling through quiet natural surroundings.
