I am a college student from the United States. I am looking for a tour starting the night of July 22nd or on July 23rd, until August 3rd. I will be finishing my research in Dar es Salaam on July 22nd, and am flying out of the Dar es Salaam airport on August 3rd. I am hoping to spend some time exploring cultural things, but spend most of my time on a Safari (I am particularly interested in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater) and some time in Zanzibar. I am looking for a budget tour, and am also looking to join a group as I will be traveling alone. I was also wondering if it would be possible to downgrade the accommodations on this tour for a lower price?

Our tour of Kenya and Tanzania was fabulous. Our two guides, Brian and Elly, were fun, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We shared a lot of laughs and developed a strong bond in our short time together, and we saw every animal we'd hoped to see (plus some) thanks to them. Gracepatt's customer service was excellent. They responded to emails in a timely manner, changed the schedule around a bit so that we could fly into and out of Nairobi, booked a hotel for the night we arrived without even being asked, and upgraded our accommodations. Grace answered any and all questions before, during and after our safari. She was a pleasure to deal with and always replied quickly. Our guide, Samuel, was truly amazing!! His knowledge base was incredible, and his patience unending, as we asked many questions from flora/fauna to culture, religion and politics. We had so much fun with him.
