Itinerary
- Day 1
San Juan
After you arrive at San Juan Airport or the Bus Terminal, you'll head to your hotel and get checked in. During the early afternoon, a guide takes you through downtown San Juan, stopping at the Sarmiento Birthplace and Juan Victoria Auditorium. From there, you'll drive west toward Quebrada de Zonda to see the landscape and rock formations, then move on to Campos de Olivos where you can learn how they produce olive oil using traditional methods. The day wraps up at Dique de Ullum, where you get panoramic views across the reservoir and the mountains beyond it.

Valle Fértil
After breakfast you'll drive out toward Valle Fértil, making a stop at the Difunta Correa shrine along the way. Check into Hostería Valle Fértil and then spend the early afternoon exploring Ischigualasto Provincial Park, also called the Valley of the Moon. Once evening hits, you go back out for a moonlit tour of the park so you can see how those unusual rock formations look when they're lit up by the moon.

Talampaya and Return to San Juan
Following breakfast, you'll head to Talampaya National Park to see the tall red cliffs and check out some archaeological sites. From there you drive back toward San Juan on National Route 150, passing through the Cuesta de Huaco area which has some nice scenery. You'll get back to San Juan around 8:00 PM and check into your hotel.

San Juan
You'll have breakfast at the hotel before checking out. After that, your transfer takes you to the airport or bus terminal, which is where your San Juan tour ends.
