Your Tour Director will provide you with a schedule for each day, but in general the tour day begins between 8:00 – 9:00am and arrival at the hotel for that evening is usually between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. We generally incorporate a sightseeing feature each morning and afternoon. There are breaks at two-hour intervals or less so that you get a chance to stretch your legs, purchase a snack or lunch, take photos, or use a restroom.

Our Best of Britain - 10 Days/9 Nights departing August 10, 2025 is a large/regular-sized group of 44 people maximum!

Can I get photo of the transportation

CIE uses a standard size motor coach that can hold up to 44 passengers on guided group tours.

Do you provide airport transfers for this tour. Also, are you authorized to provide visa support documents such as invitation letter, after booking this tour? And what are your accrediation bodies, I mean whom are you registered with?

Transfers are only included if you book air through CIE coming in on time day tour starts & ends. We do attach electronic documents to your reservation if you would like to use that as your visa support document. Once final payment is received this is uploaded to the booking. This would include all of your information such as any vouchers, itinerary and necessary travel contacts for your trip. CIE Tours' accreditation bodies include USTOA and BBB.

Do you do group quotations?

We are looking to travel either over our 2026 Spring Break or in May 2026. Initially, we wanted to focus on the Orkneys. We would like to look at a possible side trip to the Orkney historical sites.

Are the tours wheelchair accessible?

What kind of meals are provided during the tour?

Will there be a trip in March of 2025? Also, it seems like this trip packs a lot in each day and wondering if there is enough time. For example, the Baths and Stonehenge in one day? Also, in Liverpool I would want to do a Beatles tour and it doesn't seem there would be time for that. Finally, in Blenheim would there be an opportunity to learn about Winston Churchill?

The earliest departure we offer is Sun Mar 30, 2025 to Tue Apr 08 2025. This tour will be pretty busy with the itinerary but there will be free time to do excursions independently. For example, when in Liverpool, you want to do the Beatles tour you can opt out of an activity to book something you wish instead.

Do the tours include international flights?

Our tours do not include international airfare. You are responsible for booking your flights, and we offer a link to a flight booking portal for your convenience. It's recommended not to book flights until your tour departure is confirmed.

The tour as a whole was great. One thing we did not like was staying in a hotel that was not near the town and having to dine in hotel without a choice. Also we thought that we spent too much time in the coach and not enough time at the destination. Along the way to destinations the highways were not conducive to looking at things along the roadways. When we did Ireland with CIE we took back roads and this was much more enjoyable for sightseeing!Show more
