    Arrival in Kathmandu

    You'll touch down at Kathmandu airport where someone from the company meets you and takes you to your hotel. There's a quick briefing about local customs, shrines, and temples before you settle in for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Besisahar to Nadi

    After breakfast, hop on a local bus and travel through terrain along the Trisuli River heading toward Besisahar, then continue to Nadi. This 7-hour journey winds through green forests, small villages, streams, rivers, and paddy fields.

  3. Day 3

    Trek to Chyamche

    Start trekking and follow the Marsyandi River upstream. You'll cross a long suspension bridge, pass a waterfall with a bathing pool, then climb to Bahundanda. The route takes you through forested hills and a lesser-known hot spring. Plan for about 5-7 hours of trekking.

    Trek from Chyamche to Danaque

    Continue hiking through narrowing gorges and cross cantilever and suspension bridges. You'll pass small settlements and notice how the architecture, vegetation, and culture shift. Houses change from wood to stone, and Tibetan culture becomes more visible as you reach Danaque.

    Trek from Danaque to Chame

  6. Day 6

    Trek from Chame to Pisang

    Hike through pine, hemlock, and cypress forests along a narrow valley. Climb to lower Pisang where you'll see outstanding views of Annapurna II. This dry region sits in the rain shadow of the Himalayas.

  7. Day 7

    Trek from Pisang to Manang

    Pick between lower and higher trekking routes. The higher one takes longer but gives better mountain views. Both pass through Braga, which has a roughly 900-year-old Kargyupa monastery with unique artwork. You'll end up in Manang, a culturally rich village with Sherpa and Gurung traditions.

    Acclimatization in Manang

    Take a rest day for your body to adjust after climbing to higher elevation. Manang sits in a great location with lakes, caves, moraines, hills, and a monastery. Wander around local attractions or join traditional town activities at your own pace.

    Trek from Manang to Khangsar

    Trek through areas with limited facilities, crossing tributaries and nice meadows with occasional birch groves. Watch for herds of blue sheep. Follow along the Marsyandi River estuary and catch sunset views of the mountains. Reach Khangsar, an old Tibetan settlement.

    Trek from Khangsar to Tilicho Lake Base Camp

    Gradually climb while trekking to Tilicho Lake Base Camp near the world's highest lake. You'll leave the Marsyandi River and reach a hilltop overlooking the lake. There's a chance to spot a snow leopard at dusk. This base camp sets you up for crossing Tilicho Pass.

    Trek over Meso Kanto Pass to Namphu

    Leave the river valley and climb steadily over lateral moraine past a small glacier. Cross Meso Kanto Pass, marked by a large cairn and the high point of your trek. This pass divides major Himalayan valleys, with the Kaligandaki River visible to the west. Descend to Namphu in a poplar grove.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before April 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Mega Mount Treks and Expedition Pvt.Ltd. . The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
