  Very unhappy. We were not looked after by the guide and tour company. 1st day after a long flight we asked to eat...
  Very unhappy. We were not looked after by the guide and tour company. 1st day after a long flight we asked to eat dinner at 5pm Sun. Our driver/guide ignored us, only took us to Rockwell Colombo which had no food service. 6th day was ruined by being made to wait 4hrs at a hot train station. The driver/guide took us to NuwaraEliya train station at 9am, no morning train so told us to wait there for 1pm train! He left us there to wait 4hrs in the heat with no facilities or town nearby. We felt bored, unsafe, sick and completely cheated. Day 10 the driver/guide drove us to Galle lighthouse, but after letting us stroll for 10mins he rushed us into his car and took us straight to Hotel Calm Haven at 11.30am and left us there. Hotel is a 5km from town. Day 11 driver/guide let us walk around Galle but didn't offer to take us to turtle hatchery. Accomodation staff were lovely. They always looked after our every need and were always willing to help us and look after us.Show more

Unfortunately, this was beyond our control, and we understand how waiting for several hours in uncomfortable conditions can be frustrating. We should have communicated more effectively and offered alternative solutions. We will work on improving our contingency plans for such unforeseen circumstances. Regarding your visit to Galle, we apologize if the timing and the itinerary did not meet your expectations. We will review our scheduling and ensure that future guests have a more flexible and enjoyable experience.
