Besides the Taxi drivers on pick up and drop off to the airport nothing else went to plan. Day 1 - On arrival to the Office it was heavily over crowded, I walked in was issued some snow gear and asked to leave. I asked for some guidence and was told I could leave my bags and return at 1250 for my taxi. The Glass igloo was nice but had a leak in the roof. Day 2 - The driver was 20 minutes late. But the tour at the zoo was good. Day 3 - The tour was grossly over booked and one family had to drive themselves as the buss was full. We were not picked up from the hotel as arranged. We left 30 minutes late and the "Hunting" Northern lights was a 30 minute drive, 10 minute and an over crowded BBQ. Day 4 (Christmas) - The tour of the Raindeer farm was good but we were involved in a vehicle accident on the return trip leaving us alone with the car without the driver for an hour and a half. Day 5 - The tour guide decided not to pick us up and I had to arrange through the Office (departing from the office not hotel) for a later tour that day as we were leaving the next morning. Not once was I offered any compensation for any errors or poor planning. I asked the office every day of the correct timings. Overall the actual tours were good but the management was very poor.Show more

The accommodation that was booked for us, Santa Sports, was very good. The room is clean and spacious and the bathroom was huge. The transportation was provided by the Agency, was adequate, although they used rental vans and it was hard to decide if the vans are from the Agency because they are no Company markings on them. The meals during the activities were BBQ fish and soup and after 5 days, you’d get bored with it. The itinerary was a let down. You will not get the full itinerary because the activities are weather dependent: snowshoeing and snowmobiling were taken out because very little snow; the husky and reindeer rides went around a circuit of about 300 m or so; and the search for aurora borealis came up empty after freezing your body off in the freezing temperatures. For the price that was paid per person, it was a letdown. If not for the knowledgeable and entertaining guides, we would have given the trip a poor rating but they probably saved the otherwise poor trip.Show more

  I will still be in de group correct? It's not like I will travel alone in this case? Can you give me a rough estimate for the price? I indeed do want to do it for Christmas so roughly from the 22nd/23rd until 28/29. I wanted to stay around 3000 euros but considering I know that I am late, travelling alone and during Christmas, I won't be surprised if that's not possible.

  The activities will be in group, however the transfers (if you want), the accommodation will be private. You wont be joining the same group of passangers every tour, a new group of people will be in each tour. Unfortunately, 1 pax for chrismas in so short notice is very hard to find something for a good price, I can try to fit you an itinerary for 4000-4500€, if this doesnt suit you I can suggest travelling on late january or february or march, better prices and still snow and a lot of activities.

- For any tour departing before July 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Nordic Unique Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Nordic Unique Travels will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
