Asked on August 28th, 2025I am exploring options and availability for a single lady interested in cultural experiences in PNG. Her preferences are: mountains/interior over beaches, though she's happy to include coastal areas. She would like to join a group but understands this might be tricky. Additional details: traveling alone but happy to share, 10–12 days duration, budget-conscious (not luxury).
Indigo SafarisOperator•Written August 2025The trip requires two people to operate. On 6th October, we don't have anyone else.

Asked on March 19th, 2025I am looking for a January 2026 date
Indigo SafarisOperator•Written March 2025January is in the rainy season, and we don't run group trips then as villages are often flooded.

Asked on October 28th, 2024Is Papua New Guinea safe at this time?
Indigo SafarisOperator•Written October 2024PNG is safe for tourists, and always has been. On the Global Peace Index it ranks higher than the USA and other popular destinations like Brazil, Turkey, and the Philippines to name a few. However, this trip requires a minimum of two people and no one else is booked at present. December is the start of the rainy season too, so not a great time to go to the Sepik and the Highlands. Oro Province would provide a good village hopping experience though, going along the north coast of Cape Nelson.

Asked on January 17th, 2023do you have more tours to the Kokoda and Sepic river areas?
Indigo SafarisOperator•Written January 2023We can arrange a bespoke Sepik trip for your group, with more nights in the villages if you like. We also arrange bespoke travel all over the country, from the coast to Mt Wilhelm, the highest point of the country, and of course cover the Goroka Festival in the middle of September.
