    You'll arrive this evening to get your tour details and bike sorted out. After that, there's a choice between a quiet walk through the park or a scenic ride on the historic funicular that goes up to Montecatini Alto. Once you're settled at your hotel, dinner features local food and wines to get you started on the right note.

    Val di Nievole Valley - Montecatini

    Today you cycle through olive grove routes heading toward the village of Serravalle. The hills are gentle but they reward you with valley views along the way. From there, you'll descend back toward Montecatini, passing through the historic old town of Montecatini Alto where you can stop for a glass of wine at Piazza Giusti if you want a break.

    Monte Pisano - Pisa - Viareggio

    A transfer takes you to Monte Pisano's summit first, then you cycle down into the valley with good views of Pisa and the coast. You'll ride alongside a historic Roman aqueduct on the way toward the Leaning Tower of Pisa. After that, the route continues through Macchia Lucchese Nature Park to reach the seaside town of Viareggio, and you'll head back to your hotel by train.

On the return trip back to your hotel, you'll pass through the Montalbano countryside with its rolling hills and nice rural scenery.
