There are no strenuous hikes planned on our tours, but villages and towns in Portugal and Spain will have steep, cobbly, and winding streets, that may require careful navigation in parts. Some historic sites will involve a short but steep walk to access the grounds. We are not always able to park very close to attraction entrances.

  • N

    Nancy

    Asked on February 5th, 2024

If we depart Lisbon @0830 to head north on the first day, do we need to arrive the day before the tour begins and is the hotel for that evening included? If we do not get into Barcelona until 1830 on the last day, is the hotel for that evening included? Are continental breakfasts included in our hotel stay?

    Accommodation
    Meals
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten February 2024

We don't include any accommodation before or after the tour as part of the initial price. We are able to book this for you if required, then we would add this to your booking cost. I would say many passengers find it easier to stay in the departure hotel the night before, so as to avoid any stress of getting to the hotel on time in the morning. This is up to you. Yes the accommodation will provide breakfast for you on each day of the tour. This will be ether a continental or cooked breakfast.

  • C

    Chris

    Asked on May 5th, 2023

When is the public transportation used? Between cities or from Hotel to an attraction? We are old people and don't want to carry our luggage in buses and subways/Metro.

    Transport
    • Rabbie’s Small Group ToursOperatorWritten May 2023

This tour is conducted in a small 16-seater minibus so this is maybe the public transportation that you mean. There is no use of other public transport like a public bus or a metro on any of our tours.
