This morning you'll visit Castelo Rodrigo, the White Village known for its almond trees and 16th-century architecture winding through medieval streets. There's a local tasting of almonds, cheese, bread and wine, or you can hike up to the town if you prefer. After that, the ship cruises along the scenic Douro River heading toward Pinhão.

Porto

Alternatively, you can hike through Porto's old harbor quarter and medieval streets and do a Port wine tasting on your own.
