    Is the tour including internal flights? I see they are mentioned. The tour starts in Medellin and ends in Cartagena, do we need to arrange return to Medellin ourselves?

      The tour includes a flight from Medellin to Santa Marta on day 4. The tour starts in Medellin and ends in Cartagena, so you will need to make your own way back to Medellin from Cartagena once the tour has ended. The Tour Leader can provide assistance with booking and planning onwards travel at the end of the tour, but this will need to be booked by the traveller.

    Can you provide an official invitation letter to help me apply for a visa? Is it possible to process the visa first, and then I will pay the full amount after the visa is approved? I want to confirm the visa approval before making any payment.

      We can provide a cover letter for your visa application but this can only be done once your booking is confirmed as we need a active booking ref. The full payment is due at this stage to get your booking confirmed.

      If my visa is denied, what happens to the money i paid for this trip? Will it be redunded?

      We do not accept any responsibility for visa applications and the processing times surrounding that. If your visa application is declined, we cannot issue refunds for the trip as visa applications are not a service we offer, and therefore is not our responsibility. The deposit is non-refunable, and the full monies are lost if the trip is cancelled with less than 60 days to go from the trip starting. We can consider a date change as an option, but we can go through that as an option as and when necessary. You will need to contact us to let us know if you are wishing to change the date of your trip, and we will need to then look into the relevant fees etc from there.

For tours departing after October 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of $280 is required to confirm your booking with TruTravels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
