  We had the pleasure of going on a South India Tour Package that included visits to Chennai, Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, Thanjavur, and Trichy. I was blown away by the beauty, history, and culture of these cities, and I have to say, the meals included in the package were the icing on the cake. Our tour started in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. We were greeted by our friendly guide who took us to our hotel and helped us settle in. The next morning, we were off to explore the city. From the stunning Marina Beach to the vibrant markets, Chennai was a treat for all the senses. The highlight of our day was the delicious South Indian meal we had for lunch. The flavors were unlike anything I had tasted before, and the use of local ingredients made it even more special. The next stop on our tour was Kanchipuram, known as the 'City of Thousand Temples'. Our guide took us to some of the most famous temples in the city, and each one was more impressive than the last. We also had the opportunity to witness the famous silk weaving process, for which Kanchipuram is renowned. The day ended with a traditional South Indian dinner at a local restaurant, and it was one of the best meals of the trip. Mahabalipuram was our next destination, and it was a true delight. The ancient rock-cut temples and monuments were a sight to behold, and our guide's knowledge of the history behind them was impressive. We also had the chance to try some delicious seafood dishes at a beachside restaurant, which was a perfect way to end the day. Pondicherry was one of the highlights of the tour for me. The French influence in this city was evident in its architecture, cuisine, and overall vibe. We visited the famous Auroville Ashram and had a delicious French-inspired lunch at a local bistro. The fusion of Indian and French flavors in the food was a unique experience. Thanjavur and Trichy were equally fascinating with their beautiful temples and rich history. Our guide made sure we didn't miss any of the must-see sights, and we also had the opportunity to try some authentic local dishes. The meals included in our tour package were always a perfect balance of traditional South Indian cuisine and modern twists, which added to the overall experience.   South India Tour Package with Chennai, Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Pondicherry, Thanjavur, Trichy and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived in Chennai, I was impressed with the hospitality and organization of the tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of each place we visited. The itinerary was well-designed, allowing us to experience the best of South India. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of the tour for me was the visit to Mahabalipuram, where we got to see the stunning rock-cut temples and sculptures. Another highlight was the visit to Pondicherry, where we got to see the French Quarter and learn about the history of French colonization in India.   we entire5 days tour in with car and driver provided by real India Tours and Travels was excellent! The tour drivers, Mr ajay was exemplary. Our hotel provided by real viaggi India Tours & Travels was comfortable, super clean with modern facilities. To be honest, the hotel was better . The breakfast was also great! Above all, the warm welcome, personal touch and care given by Mr krishna and had touched our hearts.
