  The itinerary was almost perfect. If I had to do it again, I would only skip the Trincomalee temple. The visits to the wood handcrafts and to the medicinal herbal gardens are interesting, but the guides put too much pressure on the tourist to buy. Other than that, the overall itinerary is a nice cultural experience. Hotels are great. Most restaurants are also good. Beaches at Nilaveli and Mirissa are nice. Logistics were perfect, at least in our particular case. Drivers are always on time to pick you up at the airport or at the hotel or the airport. They drop you at the train station or at the hotel and they would never leave before making sure that you are taken in charge adequately. Photographic safaris in the Minneriya and the Yala National Parks are just wonderful. No words would suffice to describe our joy at watching elephants, buffaloes, leopards, bears, wild dogs, deer, crocodiles and many other birds, mammals and reptiles roaming free in the forests and the swamps. Highly recommendable.Show more

  We did a tour in Sri Lanka and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything went as it was planned. We had a private guide-driver (Janaka) who took care of us at all moment. He was very kind and everytime that we need anything he was very flexible and made the best for us to enjoy our holidays. The itinerary was great, very complet! You can enjoy the beach from the east cost, then immerse into the Buddhism culture and sightseeing all the amazing landscapes that Sri Lanka has, then you can enjoy the safaris where you will see the Elephants, all the hotel were amazing, and the most important: Sri Lankan people is the most kind of the world. Defently we recommend at all take a tour from tour radar and enjoy this beautiful island, because it will captivate your heart .Show more

  We did a 12 day East coast tour of Sri Lanka. It was really well organised and our guide Buddhika Herath was excellent. His driving skills were great and he adapted thw days to fit with what we wanted to do. Hotels were fine. We had some long travel and activity days but saw so much in our time here.Show more

  BH Lanka Tours Sri Lanka The tour company provided excellent service. The communication from my initial email contact thorough customizing the tour, to the final payment was great. Always a prompt response to my questions and explanation of the tour/services. Very pleased with BH Lanka. Our tour was a slightly modified version of their Grand Tour as we wanted a private tour, extra days for safari, and upscale lodgings. Overall the pace of tour was generally very relaxed which we found desirable. All accomplished with solid communication. Our driver/guide Urada, was outstanding. He was an excellent driver and always had our safety in mind. The vehicle was comfortable, cleaned daily, and stocked with fresh bottles of drinking water. He only selected safe ATM locations for my wife to use. Urada was a wealth of Sri Lankan knowledge and was very good at relaying pertinent facts regarding what to expect when we visited tourist sites giving us valuable ‘insider’ tips and warning of scams, etc. We had a daily brief of the driving journey and sites to be visited, giving us options and allowing flexibility. On the safari drives he had a keen eye in spotting and identifying birds and animals. On the train journey he led us to our seats and gave detailed information about the scenery on the journey. Udara was always prompt and ready at our stated departure times. He really gave us a positive, friendly experience during our tour in Sri Lanka. Overall the experience was a great holiday tour in Sri Lanka.Show more

We had intended to travel to this gorgeous country for many years, and this month we were able to realise our dream. Dana our guide and driver was an integral part of our experience and adventure. He provided us with the perfect blend of professionalism with his own sense of humour and personal anecdotes.
