Sideth our driver/guide was brilliant and very passionate about his country. He was an excellent, safe driver and always punctual, courteous and went out of his way to make sure we were OK. A highly recommended tour from two well traveled Kiwis.

Our guide Sidath was amazing and took care of everything - I couldn't praise him enough. Highly recommend this trip to any family seeking a trip of a lifetime.
We had a fantastic time- especially due to our wonderful tour guide Sidath. He also really looked after one of our members who got very sick/ ended up in hospital. ( which by the way was quite cheap! Private hospital. $70 AU for a specialist +3 scans done on the spot! Incredible. Super clean/ staff amazing!)He also always looked out for us at the busy marketplaces and made sure we didnt get ripped of.. By the end - Sidath felt like family. All hotels we stayed at superseded our expectations .I highly recommend BH Lanka tours

Although the tour was only 8 days we covered so many experiences to gain a real cross section of what Sri Lanka had to offer. We really recommend this tour for those who are time limited. We really recommend this tour for those who are time limited. Our airport pickup at midnight was awaiting our arrival. Thereafter we had a personal guide and an air conditioned private car for the remainder of the trip. Our guide Sidath was excellent navigating hectic traffic conditions safely , always on time and ensuring our experience was wonderful. His knowledge of SL was outstanding and he very patiently answered all our questions. He made it a very relaxing , enjoyable and friendly time . Accomodation and meals were as planned and communication from BH Lanka was welcoming and helpful.

We felt the tour was a great way to see the island of Sri Lanka, our driver Sasika was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a pleasure to spend two weeks with.

Most of the hotels were good although the food at Miridaya Lake resort was inedible and we didn’t appreciate the outside toilet and although Thalsivana Resort was lovely and in a beautiful place the bathroom was filthy to the point we had to use a cloth to turn the taps on.
We would highly recommend Sasika as a driver, he went out of his way to make sure we saw as much of the island as possible and made the whole trip an absolute pleasure

The organization of our tour went very good. We had a gr8 communication with BH Lanka Tours and the response to our questions was fast. We felt very save during our whole trip. That is very important since we are 2 traveling ladies.
We had a well planned program yet there was always room for spontaneos activities. Like stopping for coconut water or Dhal Wade ( a must try) en route to our destination.
This 10 days will be enough to get 2 know Sri Lanka, yet we wished we had stayed more days at each destination to really enjoy the hotel and its surroundings.
The hotels and the food was very good. Breakfast and Dinner were included. For lunch our driver took us to several buffet or a la carte lunches. All very nice places, with a touch of the local food but with enough international varity if you are not into spicy food.
We recommend BH lanka Tours and our driver/guide/friend Chintaka Silva for an unforgettable time just as we had.

We did see the “Best of Sri Lanka”. Everyday was packed with UNESCO historical sites, great Safaris, up close and personal interactions with locals at cultural sites and local businesses. We saw so much countryside.. thick jungles, tea plantations and rice paddys. The hotel accommodations were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. Our guide was the best!! Sidath treated us like royalty, explaining everything (history, the people and traditions, the culture and in depth knowledge of all the places). He knew locals and guides that added to a great experience. He was always attentive to our needs and wants.

BH Lanka tours ensured that we were satisfied with the hotel selection and readily changed the ones that we were unhappy with. They were happy to fine tune the tour to satisfy our needs.
Our Anniversary was communicated to the hotel we stayed at on that date, and the hotel gave us a big celebratory surprise from the room decoration to an Anniversary cake and a delightful card.
Sidath went out of his way to make sure that we thoroughly enjoyed every single day of our tour adorning us with gifts and a bouquet of flowers for our Anniversary. He was accommodating in every way, from taking us to different stores to buy spices, ayurvedic products and whatever else we desired. He always gave us good advice and cautioned us when necessary. He enlightened us on the history of Sri Lanka and answered all the questions we put to him in his naturally calm and friendly way. He is a careful driver and we felt completely safe and comfortable in his regularly cleaned air conditioned car.
He took us for our PCR tests and had them printed and made sure to communicate with us right until we arrived safely at home in our country.Thank you Sidath and thank you BH Lanka Tours

BH Tours (and Sri Lanka too) have exceeded our expectations at every turn and we were absolutely blown away by the whole tour. The quality of accommodation, variety in itinerary, and overall experience were excellent - we couldn’t have asked for more! Every day was a mix of Sri Lankan culture and food and wildlife and scenery. In a short 8 days we saw so much and learnt an incredible amount about this beautiful country and its people. Highlights include (but are not limited to) seeing the gorgeous Sri Lankan wildlife - elephants, peacocks, water buffalo, whales, wild boar, pelicans, monkeys, deer, and so many more - in their natural habitat, visiting tea plantations and a tea factory (and buying a lot of tea), and the famous train ride through stunning Sri Lankan countryside from Nuwara Eliya to gorgeous Ella! It was an incredible, overwhelming experience, but none of it would have been possible without our guide, Gaya. He looked after us the whole time making sure we had everything we needed and felt safe, adjusting our itinerary so that we had the best possible experience, and teaching us about interesting places and local knowledge of Sri Lanka, while making jokes along the way! He made our whole experience stress free and, as two young female travellers, we are unbelievably grateful for the guidance, security and support he gave us through the whole trip. If you are still not sure about booking this trip, stop hesitating and book now! You won’t regret it!!

If you are thinking of travelling to Sri Lanka I would 100% recommend this tour. We have had the best time travelling the beautiful country of Sri Lanka during the last 8 days and this was all made possible with BH tours.
The trip was jam packed with so many great activities. A few of the highlights for me were the wildlife safaris, lunch in the local village, a train ride across the beautiful countryside to Ella, a tea plantation tour of Damro Tea, herb and spice garden tour, the cultural show, climbing Sigiriya rock, exploring temples and experiencing the local markets. With every experience we were continuously blown away by what this country has to offer. Throughout the tour the timing of the itinerary was adjusted to make sure we got the best out of all of the activities planned. Sometimes this altered slightly from the schedule but there was no issue going with the flow as timing wise we worked with what suited us best. Our accomodation was awesome and the food provided as part of the tour was good. The trip provides a true look into the local life in Sri Lanka as you drive everyday to your next location. Sometimes the drive can be a couple of hours but this gives you a chance to reflect and rest before the next activity.
Our trip was made extra special thanks to our tour guide Gaya. As two young woman travelling from New Zealand Gaya made us feel safe and well looked after. He took us to the best spots, shared his knowledge with us throughout our journey and made sure we got the best out of every experience. I couldn’t ask for anything more in a tour guide and can’t thank him enough for making our experience what it was.
This trip was truely 10/10 and I would recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Sri Lanka.

The holiday became even better because of a superb planning by BH Lanka Tours !!! Our travel consultant Ms. Lina arranged everything as per our requirements and to the minute’s details!! Super quick in response, she dedicatedly worked beyond her office hours to ensure that we have a memorable vacation!! Our guide ,Sidith,was brilliant.He not only explsined all the sights ,he often stopped when something unexpected was seen at the side of the road and he explsined all about it....Brilliant stuff.
Sadly however two thirds of the way through our trip he was called away because his mother in law had to go into hospital.BH lanka replaced him seamlessly with another.However,we think the replacement was more of a driver than guide and he was unable to explain sights and attractions very well.This led us to not bother with some activities at the back end of the tour since we didnt think we would get much from it...So the last few days were dissapointing.
However,all in all BH Lanka can be highly recommended and fully trusted.

We would gladly recommend him to friends wanting to do a similar trip. However, some of the hotels could have been better. In detail, food excellent and lovely view but the earls regent had a damp mouldy bathroom and a leak from the shower area into the bedroom area where a suitcase stood and was soaked underneath. Tree trails was peaceful as expected given the location but again damp patches throughout, food was good. Mount randholee, the tap on the bath was very loose to the point that it was falling out of its hole, bath seen better days too, mould and damp in many places, sheets were old and bobbly and uncomfortable. At Lynden Grove, curtains very wet from damp patch under the window which we didn’t spot until the morning when I moved the suitcase from the window seat, bed was very comfortable though, food was good. Tamarind tree, dirty windows to bathroom, unable to close off letting mosquitoes in, food was good especially the swordfish. 22 weligambay resort, badly fitted door to balcony letting in mosquitoes again, needs net curtain for privacy, comfortable bed. The palms hotel, no issues with room apart from a lack of electrical sockets but buffet food wasn’t replenished and was very little left when we ate at 8pm, dining was until 9:30pm. Staff were great when it rained heavily coming to our rescue with umbrellas!

Even before leaving, the company was very helpful and they supported us in understanding how the flooding would affect our experience.
Luckily, when we arrived it stopped raining, but the consequences of the cyclone were still very clear.
Our guide, Sidath, made sure that we were will taken care of. He was very knowledgeable, always available and eager to let us know his county. Despite multiple changes in the plans for to road closures, he made sure we were not missing out on anything. He was always very careful to our needs and desires - even which food we liked! During the whole experience, Sidath has been our window on the Sinhalese culture.
The country, the culture and the people of Sri Lanka are amazing. BH Lanka and Sidath made sure we could enjoy them to the fullest. Isthuthi!

The tour left little down time as we were going from 9am-5pm daily. There was too much emphasis on Buddhist temples. Avoid the train ride-nothing to see. Drive with your guide instead. We loved our guide Cammie and our superior hotels. Just missed having more time to enjoy them.
Also note that you will be required to pay $250-300 for activities listed in the itinerary. We had no idea until we received our final documents.
Overall an ok tour and the people of Sri Lanka could not be nicer!

Our guide was very sweet, patient and flexible especially with our little ones constant need for snacks, breaks and rest.
I would totally recommend this tour, it's a fantastic way to discover all that Sri Lanka has to offer without having to worry about the organisation of the safaris, accommodation and so on.

Dafür war ich sehr dankbar, denn ich wollte nicht alleine reisen aber deswegen hat dich ständig unser plan geändert und wir waren nicht in selben hotels und die anderen hatten auch nur 8 Tage gebucht. Da hätte ich mir von bh eine bessere Kommunikation gewünscht.
Die hotels waren sehr hochwertig, für mich schon fast zu viel aber das ist ein Luxus problem. Dennoch finde ich die Reise sehr teuer, da man auch einige Attraktionen noch selbst bezahlen muss und nochmal ca. 300 USD oben drauf kommen.
Trotzdem ein großes Dankeschön an Sidath der sich wunderbar um alles gekümmert hat.

The BH Lanka agency was very cooperative and we were able to arrange everything.
We are also grateful to our guide/driver, Mr Sidath, who gave us an introduction to the country and was very helpful, hospitable and looked after everithing throughout the trip.

I can’t recommend this tour enough! Sri Lanka is an astonishing place and if you want a jam packed week with all the main sights, this one is brilliant. Always prompt with pick ups, flexible and accommodating with any requests, kept us safe at all times - even with the manic drivers on the road I never worried with Sidath behind the wheel! Sri Lanka has it all, mountains, jungle, animals, beaches, good food, lovely people, and so much culture. The hotels were all stunning, each one we loved for different reasons. Thank you so much BHtravel and Sidath for what truly was a lifetime experience of Sri Lanka!
Wonderful tour, they supplied us with a superb driver. He was both safety conscious, informative, warm and knowledgeable. All accommodations were very nice and exceeded our expectations
