We are very concerned about the effects of the Cyclone Ditwah and the places we are to visit. Are any of the places too damaged to be able to visit?

We have recovered from the Ditwah Cyclone, all the touristic attractions are up and running. So you can enjoy the tour without any issues.

Could I please ask how much extra it is for a beach day and for the Ayurvedic experience. Also, where is the first day elephant experience to feed the elephants, is it a sanctuary?

The Pinnawala Elephant Rehabilitation Center is a well-established sanctuary where elephants are cared for and protected in a safe environment.

For Maldives extension I want a "All Inclusive" place where room, activities, entertainment, and drinks will be free. Do you provide that kind of upgrade?

We can upgrade to either a beach resort stay or a water villa for your Maldives extension, complete with an all-inclusive meal plan that covers both meals and drinks. This will ensure you have a comfortable and seamless stay. However, any additional activities or excursions will need to be booked directly through the resort upon arrival.

Can you please arrange a quote? We also were interested in doing 3nts at one of the Maldives all inclusive resorts after. Can you see which have triple rooms and provide a quote please? Then we just have to source our own airfare, is that right?

When do we find out info and fees for the optional activities and when can we book them?

I am interested in a tour from November 28th to December 5th. I see there are two tours that are very similar, and I would like to know what the differences are between the two trips of Sri Lanka Deluxe Travel vs. Lifetime Experience Sri Lanka. We are interested in booking very soon.

It was incredible, the variety of culture, wildlife and adventure was perfect for our family. It was incredibly hot when we came but the air con in the mini van was amazing. Our Guide, Viraj, was amazing. He was very considerate of us and our needs, adjusting things as required and helping us with anything we needed or our questions. Very good food. the highlight of our trip of our trip was a guide Nalin, one of the best tour guides I met in my life and I traveled extensively. Nalin has excellent knowledge of history, geography customs and politics of the country. Every time we needed something he went one mile extra if needed to get us what we needed. He even invited us to his house for tea an cookies. At the same time he was a very good driver navigating the impossible roads of Sri Lanka. I would recommend him as a guide to anybody who wants to visit this beautiful country.Show more

The company were great from the start with organising and adjusting the itinerary based on our requests. Sri Lanka is a beautiful, if occasionally crowded, country to visit, and we learnt so much about the culture / places we visited from our amazing tour guide Nishantha (Nish). Nish took great care of us, was extremely well organised and also generous in sharing his knowledge of the country and culture. We had Wipul as our tour guide and we very much enjoyed his company. He was accomodating to our needs and was great for chats ! We would recommend him! The tour itself was great however at times we felt the places we went to were catered more to tourists which made it at times not very authentic. For example restaurants we were recommended or brought to had only tourists in it and lots of western food. Also some of the places like the elephant sanctuary had elephants in chains/ were offered elephant rides and another part of the tour had a cow pulling our carriage… at times not sure if animal welfare is prioritised.Show more

A great trip, everything went really well, good hotels, excellent food. We had booked a group tour and were given our own driver/tour guide. The tour program was full, the history of Sri Lanka, the nature, flora and fauna great. Traffic is pure chaos, but you still feel safe. A few tuk tuk rides are recommended, the experience of seeing wild elephants and monkeys, leopards and lots of other wildlife is wonderful. BH Lanka was super easy with booking and communication. Our guide/driver Sujeewa was fabulous, spoke very good English. Many of the attractions have entrance fees, quoted in US$, but must be paid in local money. Currency exchange is available at the airport and in many money changers. Larger notes (100 $/EUR have a better exchange rate. Banks are only open from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. Beer is cheap, wine expensive (in hotels). The local population is super friendly and you feel welcome everywhere. A highly recommended country, and soo good curriesShow more

A fantastic way to see the best of Sri Lanka. Our driver and guide, Sidath, was excellent, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He was informative both at every site and along the way. We would gladly recommend him to friends wanting to do a similar trip. However, some of the hotels could have been better. In detail, food excellent and lovely view but the earls regent had a damp mouldy bathroom and a leak from the shower area into the bedroom area where a suitcase stood and was soaked underneath. Tree trails was peaceful as expected given the location but again damp patches throughout, food was good. Mount randholee, the tap on the bath was very loose to the point that it was falling out of its hole, bath seen better days too, mould and damp in many places, sheets were old and bobbly and uncomfortable. At Lynden Grove, curtains very wet from damp patch under the window which we didn’t spot until the morning when I moved the suitcase from the window seat, bed was very comfortable though, food was good. Tamarind tree, dirty windows to bathroom, unable to close off letting mosquitoes in, food was good especially the swordfish. 22 weligambay resort, badly fitted door to balcony letting in mosquitoes again, needs net curtain for privacy, comfortable bed. The palms hotel, no issues with room apart from a lack of electrical sockets but buffet food wasn’t replenished and was very little left when we ate at 8pm, dining was until 9:30pm. Staff were great when it rained heavily coming to our rescue with umbrellas!Show more

I am interested in a tour from November 28th to December 5th. I see there are two tours that are very similar, and I would like to know what the differences are between the two trips of Sri Lanka Deluxe Travel vs. Lifetime Experience Sri Lanka. We are interested in booking very soon.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 1st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 1st, 2026, a minimum payment of $100 is required to confirm your booking with BH Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and BH Lanka Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
