He made sure I was not only enjoying my trip but also I was safe and sound. I have acrophobia so I had a really hard time hiking to Sigiriya. He was very supportive throughout the entire hike, allowed me to take breaks when I needed and pushed me to face my fear of heights. We did a lot in a week. However, I do wish I had more time in Ella after the train ride. The train ride was extremely beautiful but it was long and due to unexpected delay it felt longer. The hotels were beautiful too. I am so glad I went to see this beautiful country with deeply rooted history and lush greenery.

We feel very comfortable under his care. All hotels are 4 stars up with breakfast and dinners included. Roshan, operation manager and BH team are very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We have wonderful time and would recommend BH Tour to anyone who interested in traveling in Sri Lanka. You are in good hands.

Not only was the itinerary perfectly paced with variety, and the hotels excellent, the big difference was our outstanding guide and driver, Buddhika and Chandana who were informative, fun and met every request we had. I highly recommend this tour and our guides to anyone.

Had our own private van with driver and guide. Can’t speak highly enough of our guide Buddhika and our driver Chandana. We were always made to feel like VIPs. We were able to tailor the itinerary to our interests and we had total flexibility about what we did and where we went. Buddhika was very knowledgeable and taught us heaps about the country including history, culture, food etc. We were lucky to experience local foods and drinks. The hotels were great. Chandana was an excellent driver and his van was always spotless. Would recommend using BH Lanka tours if you are wanting to visit Sri Lanka. You will not be disappointed.

The tour as well organised and ran very smoothly. All of the accomodations were amazing and it was clear that BH Lanka tours had arranged the best of everything for us. The best seats for activities and the best rooms. Our tour guide Buddhika Bandara has been so amazing. He has been super attentive to our needs, but also friendly and full of knowledge. I would 100% recommend doing this tour.

The communication with them by e mail prior to the tour was excellent and we agreed the itinerary with them. They were very flexible to arrange what we wanted to see and do. We also booked our own hotels and they transported us to and from each one as needed. We were met at the airport and then expertly looked after for the whole trip and taken to all the major sites in Sri lanka. Our flight was late landing and they waited at the airport for us without any objections. Our Tour operator and driver Buddhika was brilliant, he could tell us all about the cultural history of Sri lanka and answer all the questions we had about Sri Lanka. He was always very polite and friendly, a great driver and we always felt safe in his comfortable air conditioned vehicle. We used Whatsapp to communicate pick up times etc with him and it worked really well. Overal, a great experience!

His driving was smooth and careful, and he frequently secured excellent deals when we shopped.
The temple experiences were particularly memorable, especially the visit to the Tooth Relic Temple during the Full Moon Festival. The Kingdom of Polonnaruwa reminded me of Angkor Wat, but without the crowds. We also enjoyed various hikes and thrilling rafting adventures.
The train journey into the mountains was a highlight. Despite train delays, Buddika managed to secure excellent seats at the last minute. We were lucky enough to share the journey with a group of schoolchildren, which added to the fun as we exchanged snacks, songs, and joyful shouts through the dark tunnels.
Our time surfing at the beautiful beach in Dickwella was fantastic, and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress is not to be missed. Even if the climb seems daunting, push yourself to the top – the view is worth it. We were also fortunate to witness abundant elephants and had a serene sighting of the elusive leopard.
Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Remember to bring extra money for tips to show appreciation for the outstanding service provided. Highly recommended!

There was a great balance between adventure, physical activity, wild animals, and chilling out at the hotels by the pool and the beach. The food was delicious too! Our tour guide Buddhika was very knowledgeable and provided us with historical and political facts about the different places we visited. He was very experienced, punctual, reliable, caring, kind, honest and extremely genuine in wanting to give us the best possible tour and experience of Sri-Lanka. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide! Our driver Chinthaka was also very experienced, safe and reliable.

Buddhika not only went out of his way to make my mum feel special for her 60th birthday, but made us all feel like royalty throughout the whole trip!

Buddhika arranged birthday cakes , decorations for our vehicle and even for the cast of the cultural show in Kandy to sing happy birthday to me . The surprises kept on coming . The tour was stress free and we were made to feel.like royalty ,with front seats at the show on the whale watching boat and front seats on the train journey to Ella .
The itinerary was great ,we felt we've seen so much of sri lanka and learnt so much about the people culture and religions , Buddhika was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions we kept throwing at him .

He was organized, very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, made sure guests were comfortable and has a good sense of humor. The itinerary that was mentioned for this trip was accomplished inspite of the weather. Best optional tour we took was the Mangrove cave river safari. With the exception of one hotel at Nuwara Eliya (bathroom leak & receptionist was rude), all the others were very good (rooms & food wise - wished we stayed for 2 nights in those hotels instead for a night). Overall, our group of 4 loved & truly enjoyed our whirlwind Sri Lankan immersion trip. It was indeed a lifetime adventure. Will recommend to our friends!

All the hotels were good, clean and excellent views. Having breakfast and dinner provided made life easy.
We really enjoyed the Forest Edge hotel near Kittagula we were the only guests! We felt privileged because if we had been in a larger group we would not have been able to stay there. As the name implies it's way up in the trees with amazing views.
One thing to note is that above the tour cost you need to add $275 USA per person for entrance fees. This came as a surprise to us when we received the list of fees about a month before the tour. (Our fault for not reading the smallprint.
Nevertheless-a wonderful tour and a good way to see Sri Lanka in a relatively short time.

Buddhika has been great and we have enjoyed meeting him. At times it has been mainly chauffeuringand we both felt it might have been good to have more of his company outside of the car , but that's okay because we have both been independent travellers for many years.
For less independent travellers it might be a little daunting.
It is worth noting that, in addition to the cost of the tour (we paid over $2,200 aus) there is approx $275 USA per personinentrance fees

Am Tag unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka erhielten wir vom Veranstalter eine Willkommens-Email mit dem Namen unseres Guides und Informationen zur am Folgetag beginnenden Tour. Die vom Veranstalter gebuchten Hotels waren alle ausgezeichnet. Wir haben die private Tour gebucht und haben diesen Entscheid nicht bereut. So waren wir zu Zweit als Paar allein mit unserem Fahrer/Guide und reisten bequem im Personenwagen. Unser Fahrer/Guide mit dem Namen Buddhika hat uns immer sicher ans Etappenziel gebracht und uns täglich viele Informationen über Land, Leute, Tierwelt, Wirtschaft, Geschichte und die aktuelle politische Situation vermittelt. Sein Englisch war ausgezeichnet und wir konnten uns mit ihm problemlos unterhalten. Wir haben auch viel mit ihm zusammen gelacht und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Er war jederzeit pünktlich und immer um unsere Sicherheit besorgt. Um in kurzer Zeit einen guten Überblick über Sri Lanka zu gewinnen war die Reiseroute sehr gut geeignet. Wir können die Rundreise uneingeschränkt allen Leuten empfehlen, insbesondere jenen, die ebenfalls gerne Neues entdecken und den unkomplizierten Umgang mit der Bevölkerung lieben. We booked the "Lifetime Experience In Sri Lanka" tour from the tour operator BH Lanka Tours. We were very enthusiastic about the eight-day round trip and all of our expectations were exceeded. On the day of our arrival in Sri Lanka we received a welcome email from the tour operator with the name of our guide and information about the tour starting the following day. The hotels booked by the tour operator were all excellent. We booked the private tour and have not regretted this decision. So there were two of us as a couple alone with our driver/guide and traveled comfortably in a passenger car. Our driver/guide named Buddhika always brought us safely to the destination of the day and gave us a lot of information about the country, people, wildlife, economy, history and the current political situation. His English was excellent and we had no problems talking with him. We also laughed a lot with him and had a very good time. He was always on time and always concerned about our safety. The itinerary was very suitable for getting a good overview of Sri Lanka in a short time. We can recommend the round trip to everyone without restriction, especially to those who also like to discover new things and love the uncomplicated interaction with the people. If you want to see all that Sri Lanka has to offer in relatively quick time, then this tour is perfect for you. But as it includes so many activities & covers such a large area, it can feel a little rushed at times, but does not stop the enjoyment of a "lifetime experience in Sri Lanka". In a nutshell, for us, this was a taster tour of Sri Lanka, we will be back.

Our days were long. Our tour guide Buddhika seemed more than happy to make sure that we were getting the best experience in Sri Lanka and seeing as many things as possible. He also let us do extra shopping. All this with a smile and the best attitude. My friend and I were pretty demanding with the things we wanted to do. We got the VIP treatment for sure.
The hotels we stayed in more very nice. Some had the most exceptional locations and I wish we could’ve stayed in them longer, but we were busy sightseeing and learning about Sri Lanka. There was so much to do. Our tour guide let us make changes along the way. For instance, we change from visiting one national park to a different one.
He was constantly trying to cater to us, and Make our experience the best.
The food was terrific at the hotels, and Buddhika found wonderful options for our lunches. He made it so easy.
I have returned home loving Sri Lanka and the experiences I had there during my tour. I would love to go back. Of course I would not only select BH Lanka tours, but my tour guide Buddhika!!

The communication from the tour company before and during travel made us feel very confident and we could relax and enjoy our holiday of a lifetime. Recommend this tour company to anyone wanting to explore Sri Lanka. You could not book this yourself without lots of stress and don’t even think about public transport. Well done. It was so wonderful to be met by the driver at the airport. Our driver Buddhika happily greeted us with a big smile on his face. We spent 8 days exploring this incredible country and Buddhika showed us many beautiful places by going beyond our itinerary. If you plan to visit, give yourself 2 weeks minimum. We travelled to Hotel Kandalama from Colombo (Sigiriya Fortress & Dambulla Cave temples), onwards up to the hill country Tea Plantations and into the countryside for Yala National Park and then a few relaxing days in Mirissa beach. The range of things we did and saw from climbing Sigiriya rock to visiting the royal botanical gardens in Kandy meant we had a decent blend of exciting things and relaxing things to do all over the country.
Huge shout out to our driver Buddhika. He was so accommodating and so helpful in making sure we were comfortable when travelling and staying in each place and he couldn’t do enough for us. He’s a lovely guy and is some man for one man!
Overall, couldn’t recommend the tour enough and I’m glad we got the chance to do it!

BH Tours, and a huge shout out to Buddhika, made everything seamless, from being collected at the airport, to check-in at each hotel and travelling to all the different destinations, we were made to feel very welcome and felt like royalty everywhere we went. We saw so much in a week, from temples in Dambulla, Sigiriya rock, botanical gardens in Kandy, beautiful picturesque Ella, safari in Yala and beautiful beaches along the way. I'm 4 months pregnant so Buddhika made sure I was comfortable throughout the trip and gave advice on what he thought would be best for me. To top it all off, my partner proposed to me on top of Sigiriya rock and when Buddhika found out I got a lovely message from Bianca/BH tours and they organised a cake at the hotel the next morning along with balloons! This trip was above and beyond what we had expected and a huge thanks to Buddhika for looking after us and BH tours for allowing us to be flexible with our trip. I would 100% recommend BH Tours to anyone considering a tour of the beautiful Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan people are warm and welcoming and it's very safe to walk around and at all monuments and tourist attractions. Our guide Buddhika was superb. He is very knowledgeable, easy going and fun to be around. He's a great driver and very organized. The beauty of Sri Lanka is unrivaled. While I may have been there during the Easter bombings I never felt threatened or scared just so sad for Sri Lankans. The service received from BH Sri Lanka Travels was incredible. They were with me every step of the way and constantly had our safety top of mind so as a female solo traveler I never felt at risk. I highly recommend this tour. I will definitely be going back to Sri Lanka

Our driver and guide Buddhika is the best! he really cared about our comfort and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed the country. More than that, we had a family atmosphere, we even called each other brothers in their mother language, I was the youngest sister = nangui, I had 2 older sisters (solo travellers as well) = Aka and our older brother, Buddhika = Aya. When I expressed my communication concerns with the driver I was originally given, a new one was arranged for me - and he was brilliant! Buddhika went above and beyond adding so many extras to the trip that made it even more amazing than it would have been. The locations are all incredible and chosen accommodation is top notch. One thing I will say is that if you want lunch…say so! Apparently it’s normal for people to skip this (can’t relate) so some days I was getting hungry. Apart from that small thing, I can’t praise the trip and Buddhika enough. Absolutely fantastic - thank you!
