Overall, the itinerary was excellent. I was not aware that the tour involved only the two of us, and a driver/guide. Janaka, our guide/driver, was very good overall--he was clear and flexible with daily start times--I felt that he was a bit rushed at times--but did tell us how long it would take to drive though to the next stop, through heavy and slow traffic at times. He would allow us extra time at stops if we felt necessary. He had good rapport or communication with the other service providers on the tour--he knew how to get us as close to our destination as possible, even when parking was not always available. I think the driving for him was stressful at times and he was careful with driving but also a bit pushy with the traffic if front--slightly erratic or driving too close behind vehicles, although this was necessary much of the time, if a passing opportunity should arise.Show more

Most of our hotels were beautiful and clean. The majority of the restaurants picked and food that we ate was delicious . Our only issue was with our final hotel Camelot. Our room was infested with mosquitos and the food was lackluster at best. No chairs or shade on the beach.Show more

For tours departing after May 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of $100 is required to confirm your booking with BH Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
