- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Your representative meets you at the airport terminal and takes you by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so if you land early, you can relax in the lobby or arrange an extra night for immediate access to your room.

Cairo: Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide meets you for a full day on the Giza Plateau. You'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre's pyramid, Menkaure's pyramid, and three smaller pyramids, then check out the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. There's a photo stop with views of all three pyramids and Cairo's skyline. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you head to the Egyptian Museum to see over 250,000 artifacts including King Tutankhamun's treasures. By evening, your transfer takes you to the train station for an overnight sleeper train to Aswan with dinner included.

Aswan: High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple
You'll have breakfast on the train as you arrive in Aswan, then meet your guide for transfer to your cruise ship and boarding before lunch. The afternoon takes you to the High Dam, constructed between 1960 and 1970 to control flooding and produce hydroelectricity. After that, you visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient Egyptian obelisk at nearly 42 meters. By evening, a felucca (traditional sailboat) takes you to Agilkia island for the Philae Temple, originally located on Philae island before being relocated due to Lake Nasser flooding. Then you return to your hotel.

Luxor: Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, and Colossi of Memnon
Following breakfast, you transfer to Aswan train station for your journey to Luxor. Upon arrival, your guide starts the day with a visit to Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Next, you cross the Nile to the West Bank and see Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple at El Deir El Bahary, a three-level structure devoted to god Amun and funeral rites. The Valley of the Kings comes next, where you enter 3 tombs including King Tutankhamun's tomb (KV62), discovered intact in 1922. Lunch happens during your tour. Before heading back to your hotel, you see the two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh
Breakfast at your hotel, then you transfer to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Once you arrive, the rest of your day is free to explore the coastal area or relax however you'd like.

Free Day in Sharm El Sheikh
