Kiev
This morning includes a tour of Kiev's historic sites, starting with St. Sophia Cathedral and its 13 glimmering domes. After that, you'll head to the Monastery of the Caves, which has an extensive complex of domed churches throughout the grounds. The afternoon is yours to either wander around on your own or take an optional Jewish Kiev tour if that interests you.

Kiev
You'll spend the day at Pirogovo Folk Museum, where over 200 wooden structures have been relocated from different regions across Ukraine. Each building reflects distinct regional styles and historical periods, with exhibits showing traditional costumes, musical instruments, and household items that illustrate how Ukrainians lived.

Scenic Cruising
Today is a scenic cruising day. The ship passes through rolling hills and wide open landscapes as you travel across the Kremenchuk Reservoir toward Zaporozhye. It's a nice opportunity to relax on deck and take in the changing scenery.

Zaporozhye
In Zaporozhye, you'll tour the ancestral home of the Cossacks. After a drive along Cathedral Prospect, you'll see the massive dam and hydroelectric plant up close, then visit the Cossack Museum at Khortitsa. By evening, there's a special Cossack horsemanship show featuring daring acrobatics and folkloric music and dance.

Kherson
The ship cruises down the Dnieper River through farmland before reaching Kherson. You'll walk the river embankment, check out monuments to Prince Potemkin and Prince Alexander Suvorov, and visit St. Catherine's Cathedral, which has a Mediterranean design that stands out from typical Eastern Orthodox architecture.

Odessa
The morning includes a half-day tour of Odessa, with its terraced hills and landscaped parks. Later in the afternoon, you can either take optional tours or visit museums, then catch a performance at the Opera House or dine back on the ship.

Odessa Catacombs
This morning you'll tour the Odessa Catacombs, a maze of underground tunnels that started as a sandstone mining operation and later served smugglers and Soviet partisans during World War II. After exploring, you'll head back and relax on deck as the ship sails toward Tulcea.

Tulcea to Bucharest
You'll disembark and board a motor coach for a scenic drive through Romanian countryside. You'll stop in Constanta for lunch, Romania's oldest city, then continue on to Bucharest. After checking into your hotel, dinner is on your own.

Bucharest
The morning tour shows you Bucharest's wide boulevards, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Arch of Triumph, and the People's Palace with photo stops at historic buildings. You'll also visit the Stavropoleus Monastery, built in 1724, which holds Romania's largest collection of Byzantine music books. An optional afternoon tour to Snagov Monastery and Mogosoia Palace is available.
