Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin to Munnar
You'll be met at Cochin airport and driven toward Munnar. On the route, there's a stop at Kodanad Elephant Care Centre where you can see the elephants. You'll also pass through some nice waterfalls and scenic viewpoints along the way. After checking in at your hotel in Munnar, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in.

Munnar
Following breakfast, you'll spend the morning checking out Munnar's local spots like Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, and Echo Point. Each offers different views and photo opportunities. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai where there's a chance to spot the rare Nilgiri Thars mountain goats if you're lucky. You'll return to your hotel for the night.

Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast you'll check out and drive to Thekkady. Once you arrive and settle into your hotel, you can relax for a bit. Later in the day, you'll head out to explore Kumily, a nice town nearby with local shops and food. Come back to your hotel to rest for the night.

Landmarks Periyar National Park Kumily 
- Day 4
Thekkady
This day is dedicated to Thekkady and Periyar National Park. The park spans 777 sq km with thick evergreen forests and functions as a Tiger Reserve. You'll spend time exploring the park which stays open throughout the year, even during monsoon months. The landscape and wildlife viewing opportunities make this a full day of activity.

Thekkady to Kumarakom
You'll drive to Kumarakom, known as the Town of Backwaters. After checking in and relaxing at your hotel, you can explore the local bird sanctuary, nearby beaches, backwater areas, and the Bay Island Driftwood Museum. There's plenty to see within walking distance or short trips from your hotel.

Kumarakom to Alleppey Backwaters
After breakfast, you're driven to Alleppey where you'll board a traditionally decorated houseboat for an overnight cruise. Check-in happens at 1:00 PM with lunch served right after you're on board. The boat travels past Chinese fishing nets, rice paddies, small villages, and coconut plantations. Dinner and breakfast are also included onboard.

You'll have breakfast on the houseboat before disembarking. From there, you're transferred to Cochin Airport for your flight home or to your next destination.
