  Great tour. Good transfers and accommodations. Suggest that breakfast be served earlier at ALL hotels and no later than 7 AM since we need to START walking no later than 7:30 AM to cover the long distances. Taxis also need to show up on time. Also do some research and let clients know where public laundrys are located near hotels. These suggestions would make your tour even better.Show more

  We arrived at our first nights accommodation in Sarria to be. Advised that there was no reservation under our name. Coupled with this, the accommodation advised was a 1 star apartment, not the Nice Hotel we had been originally advised. After being stuck in the footpath with luggage for an hour, desperate unanswered calls to TourRadar and the operator, UnCommon Tours, a new 1 star apartment was negotiated with the local slumlord. Next adventure was obtaining our dinner ma e real fast. We had no vouchers and nobody knew anything about them. It was a complete debacle and we were wondering if we’d been catfished. The remaining accommodation was reasonable quality, but unfortunately was nowhere near the location we hiked to. Some were upto 20km away and all required taxis to get toZ this really spoiled the vibe of doing the Camino - when you need to get taxis to and from the trail. Communication with the operator was poor and only via WhatsApp. TourRadar could not be contacted and merely clipped the ticket - no support at all. As a result, we will be advising all our friends to be wary of your radar as a provider as you don’t monitor quality of operators and don’t help when there is a problem.Show more

  This experience was horrible. There was no communication with tour & people did not speak English. Most hotels were way out in the middle of nowhere and there was no guidance given on where the El Camino started so the first day I missed out on the journey. The voucher was unclear and with no communication I ended up walking to 2nd hotel.The dinners were awful and when you took your coupon in restaurants they treated you like a third class citizen. You got the days leftovers for food plus the did not want to serve you so you sat for hours.Show more

  Hi Kathleen: We are really sorry our tour did not match your expectations, but we are not sure of understand some of your comments: You say "there was no communication with tour", but we have been in touch with you via Whatsapp daily. "Most hotels were out in the middle of nowhere"; this is a hiking-nature experience, where our guests can sleep in rural cottages and charming hotels. This is what makes our tour different; maybe we should have spoken a little before so that you could understand what we were offering. "The voucher was unclear": thanks for your comment, we will check this, despite this being the first time one of our guests has complained about the unclarity of our voucher. "With no communication, I ended up walking to 2nd hotel": you had clear instructions in your voucher about your pick-up service from O Porrinño and Redondela You also had a Whatsapp number where you could contact us anytime, in case you need immediate assistance. We gave you clear instructions on where to meet up with your driver in Redondela, and offered to contact your driver in your name, to arrange the pickup, all via Whatsapp. Regarding dinners, we are sorry you did not like them; these are traditional dinners, most of them cooked by locals, and, again, are one of the attractions of our packages. Regarding the "Leftovers", we are sorry you had this impression, but I am afraid this is not correct. Thanks Kind regards, Rodrigo

  Excellent accommodations and food for the price. Some of the nights were in a standard hotel, while some were Bed and Breakfast accommodations. All of the food was delicious, although some places were above and beyond. Luggage was always transported without a problem. Our contact, Rodrigo was very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this tour!Show more

  Make sure you find out how many miles you have to walk to the next hotel. Ours was unreasonable and extremely long.
